A New York judge has found former President Donald Trump and his adult sons liable for fraud and canceled the Trump Organization’s business certification, saying the Trumps provided false financial statements for roughly a decade. The civil case is a blow to Trump and a complete rejection of his arguments that he didn’t inflate the values of his golf courses, hotels and homes on financial statements that were repeatedly used in business. The New York attorney general has sought $250 million in damages, a ban on the Trumps from serving as officers of a business in the state, and to stop the company from engaging in business transactions for five years. The trial’s start date remains in limbo.

While I strongly doubt the Donald will spend a day in prison, I believe one or both of his sons will do time for their crimes.

and a deranged, pig-fucking, and probably syphilitic orangutan
can say whatever he wants.

Trump's inane rants aren't what make him dangerous.
The orangutan's 74,000,000 trumpanzees are what make him dangerous.

Unless we figure out what to do with them,
we're just spinning our wheels.

Investigative reporter and Trump biographer David Cay Johnston told CNN on Wednesday that former President Donald Trump is looking at a potentially dire financial situation after New York Judge Arthur Engoron found him liable for committing financial fraud.

In breaking down the ruling, Johnston noted that it essentially blocked the Trump Organization from continuing to operate in the state of New York.

"In New York, you cannot operate a business except as a sole proprietor... unless you have a license from the state," he argued. "And the judge has canceled all of those licenses all of which fall under the umbrella of the Trump Organization. This is a corporate death penalty.

Do you think, if we send their #MalignantMessiah to prison, that they'll just switch their worship to a shiny new Trump-like cult leader? Or would his loss cause them to suddenly regain sanity?

Too bad we can't give him an actual physical death penalty, for the victims of J6 and for all those sad fools who followed him during the pandemic to their graves.

As you know, I attribute it to genetic mutation.
Somehow attaining sanity which never previously existed is even less likely than regaining it.

I don't think Trump is responsible for the existence of trumpanzees...only for their new name.

His "talent" was to get them all to slither out from under their rocks.

actually the judge found that the case against him could not be summarily dismissed.......the trial isn't until later......

As a lifelong self-proclaimed victim, he easily honed in on the MAGATs' sense of grievance and victimhood as well. He is also a backlash to the racists' fears triggered by the election of Pres. Obama. Remember how the marching Nazis chanting "they will not replace us" were "some fine people"?

The 21st century Democratic party would never, under any circumstances, allow a candidate found liable for sexual assault and business fraud in a court of law, to be their leading candidate for the presidency.
