just how much do you actually know about the USMC? or should I ask how little you know? From day one, as a marine recruit, your job is a rifleman. your job is to be a combat ready marine. my secondary MOS (that's my daily job) was ATC.........but several times a year, every marine goes through periods of combat training, weapons training, etc............

i'm betting you didn't know that, though, am I right?

Lot's of people who are civilians are experienced with fire arms, some civilians even have blackbelts in karate.

You sat in an air conditioned office directing traffic, while going on message boards and demanding liberals thank you for your "heroic" and valiant service.

15,000 civilian air traffic controllers go to work every day and do not demand strangers thank them for their service

You sat in an air conditioned office directing traffic, and were never in the slightest risk of serving in combat or in the trenches.

My brother served the Air Force by sitting on his ass at a desk, but he had the dignity to not bellow at people about how he was a trained killer serving heroically in the U.S. Armed Forces.

The Air Force is not the Marine Corps, dipshit. ALL Marine units are subject to combat environments, without exception.
