Left Turns to Violence as it Refuses to Honor the Will of the Voters in France

The way it works with the Left and voting is:
The Left says, "We will have a democratic vote on this issue and will respect the will of the people!"
Then the vote goes heavily against the Left and their position is shot down.
The Left says, "The voters don't know what the hell they're doing and we will fight to the bitter end to rectify this injustice!"
Rioting and things like using lawfare ensue. The Left forces their position on society and things get worse.
The Left says, "Things are only worse because people won't embrace our positions!"
Substitute "organized religion" for "the Left" and you get the exact same thing.

French police clashed with protesters in Rennes and Paris on Saturday as tens of thousands of people took to the streets in marches against the hard-Right.
Police in Rennes deployed tear gas against black-clad protesters who appeared to throw projectiles towards their lines.

What policies have led the people to despise those with similar view to you? Hasn't unfettered and unregulated immigration from the third world strengthened France and made it safer? Just like Joe's open borders here have done?
