than they can make themselves appear likable,
at least to SOME people.

The entire profession of politics is based on that.

We all support self-serving people,
but we prefer different types of self-serving people.

It all goes back to my theory that all people,
even when sincere in their thoughts,
are definitely not the same.

That's my assessment of the American citizenry
