I think he got caught being honest, it happens to politicians, even very seasoned good public speakers.

Honesly man, do you really, really expect Obama to cut anyone's taxes? He has zero record in either office of doing so. I judge people based on their actions.

A lot of Obama's proposed tax cuts aren't actually tax cuts but tax credits for people under $250k and there is a difference. These tax credits are designed specificly for people who fit in a certain categories be it families with children in college, people with yound kids etc.

The issue with tax credits is it can put people in a position where if they make more money they lose these tax credits so they essentially net out a loss. (this can obviously be discussed in more detail but this is the basis)

I'm not a Repub, I'm under no illusions that Bush is a Conservative, he has passed Socialism with the Bank bill, McCain is not proving himself much better on THAT issue. But have they sought to increase taxes?
I think Repubs lack the balls to cut spending unless they are absolutely pressed to do so based on a choice of that or a tax increase.

Maybe he can consult with Hugo Chavez and other Socialists on how best to go about that.

Maybe he should just go consult with McCain. He could learn alot about being a socialist from John. Maybe Obama will propose I bail out dumb fuck homeowners too.
