Question for the Leftists on this Forum

I also think the U.S. may finally get a better understanding of how harmful vaccines are.
They won't because they aren't.
They are, though.
No, they aren't. YOU think they are because you live in a different world.

Rest assured, I live in the same world you do. I suspect that our reading material is different though. Tell me, did you read the article I used to back up my point? You know, this one:

Yes, there were other options, and I might have voted for one of those other options if I were American. But we both know that no one else had a chance of winning on election day.
Yep, which is why, in the end, we all lost.

Yes and no. I'm sure you've heard of the saying, careful what you wish for? Well, many Americans wished for a second Trump administration. As you know, I do think he brings -some- good things to the table, but I also think he brings some bad things to the table. Sometimes, the only way to really see the bad in ourselves is to externalize it. I think we can agree that it would be far preferable if the Trump administration never leads to something like what the Nazis did, but regardless, I think we can all agree that World War II has taught some valuable lessons for those who were paying attention. All of this reminds me of the Wonder Woman: 1984 film. I suspect the year chosen may have something to do with George Orwell's book of the same name, but with a somewhat "Brave New World" twist to it. Anyway, here's the trailer if you haven't seen it:

.

I think the trailer itself makes some good points. I've seen the film itself and I think the ending was quite good.

You live in the same physical world.

The government studying autism means nothing. First, they should study autism, just like they study other ailments. They are headed by an anti-vax conspiracy theorist who STILL baselessly claims there's a link between autism and vaccines.

democrats allow no deviance from party dogma. No one can ever question the party for any reason. RFK Jr. is now an enemy of the party and to be destroyed for failing to obey without question.
Some truth to that. Now that the democrats are out of power, perhaps they'll reform their ways a bit. From what I've seen, some time out of power generally seems to improve the party in question.
Sadly the first step to recovery which is admitting you have a problem is eluding them. Endless justification and defensiveness of their behavior brought on by the convergence of the two mental illness', leftism and TDS have made the road to recovery very tough. Few will get there, most will continue on the path to self destruction.

It's funny that you bring up what I imagine you know is an Alcoholics Anonymous slogan. I myself have never had an alcohol or drug addiction, but I went to an "Emotions Anonymous" meeting while I was still living in Canada and now am actually going to an AA meeting about once a week because it's the only mixed gender group where I live here in Mexico where we can talk about serious life issues.

Anyway, getting back to the democrats, I've seen evidence that -some- democrats have in fact admitted to some of their flaws after the last election. Some examples:

I think that AOC has said some good things as well. The article below is unlocked since I can gift a few articles from the NYT:

I don't always agree with Bernie or AOC. For instance, I know that Bernie disagreed with RFK Jr. on some issues where I agreed with RFK Jr. On the other hand, I think RFK Jr. pushed too hard when he suggested that Bernie was influenced by big pharma.

How bad he actually is in comparison to what? I think it's quite possible that Kamala may have been worse. At least with Trump, I think it's unlikely that the U.S. will start a nuclear war with Russia. I also think the U.S. may finally get a better understanding of how harmful vaccines are. An article that hints at this:

Trump is certainly terrible when it comes to things like tariffs and foreign nationals of just about everywhere. As I've said before, I wouldn't have voted for either Kamala or Trump if I were American. But those were the only real options in the last federal election. Pretty sad, but there you have it.
The jury is out on the tariffs. Most of the argument from the left seems to center around style and not substance.

For me, the jury -was- out on Trump's tariffs. After a bit though, I started reading articles from authors that I trust and the verdict was in- he wasn't doing it right. At some point, even the Trump Administration realized it, which I believe is why Trump finally scaled back all tariffs to 10%, with the lone exception of China.

Everyone knows it's about time we stood up for ourselves and got fair trading.

I'd argue that the problem has little to do with how much the U.S. charges on imports and almost everything to do with how much the U.S. invests in skilled workers and companies whose top priority is the lives of their workers instead of profits. There is another issue here that I'm not even getting into, which is why there are pretty start labour value disparities in the world.

There is no such thing as a "transgender person". Male and Female are the only two genders.

You are discussing biological genders. In humans, the spectrum is broad. I am not just a man because I have male genitals. I am a man in the way I think. I am a man on an emotional level as well.

You are discussing biological genders.
Redundant terminology, but true.
In humans, the spectrum is broad.
There is no such thing as a "gender spectrum". There are only two genders in humans: male and female. That is a biological truth. To deny that is to deny biology.
I am not just a man because I have male genitals.
You are a man because of your genetics (you have a Y chromosome).

Generally speaking:
XX = girl
XY = boy
I am a man in the way I think. I am a man on an emotional level as well.
Your thoughts and emotions are incapable of changing your gender.

no it fucking isn't.

this is made up bullshit and you're moronic and evil.

you're a furry-kin on an emotional level anyway.

for anything.

you don't rebut.

you don't debut.

you don't prebut.

no butting at all with you and your people.
You think I'm going to spend time responding/rebutting this:

"no.

you're dumb and lying."

why is it smart to send all the jobs away?
Again, there is no Boogeyman "sending all the jobs away". Each company makes its own decisions on what is best for their business.

The idea that we need to protect, for example, smartphone and t-shirt manufacturing is just silly. Not only would it be incredibly difficult to higher Americans to do the jobs, it would at least quadruple, and probably more, the cost.

I believe in capitalism and free markets. I believe that there are some industries that the US government should protect for national security reasons. Beyond that, I support letting the markets play out as it does.
