We all lash out on occasion but truthfully I have not seen anything approaching stimulating discussion on this board. I try to tell it as I see it without resorting to Middle School taunts. I do approach politics and philosophy from a conservative stance. I am a huge fan of Ayn Rand and have been since I graduated from high school in 1963 and read Atlas Shrugged for the first time. I believe the Democrat party is the part of socialism, statism and collectivism and has been at least since Woodrow Wilson. I don't believe all Democrats are stupid, some are quite brilliant to be sure. I believe they are misguided and are not seeing the logical extension of their belief system. Telling those you disagree with the reason they think the way they do is because they are stupid or insane is not the way to win them to your side.
