Right before the election, while they continue to put Trump in jail right before the election.

Everyone with a brain knows that biden willingly and politically reversed all of Trump's border executive orders and are now
showing a little concern about biden's open border, and how it will affect the upcoming election. What the dems ignorantly
use as an escape from their party's feckless dealing on border security is to accuse the House Republicans of not passing
a bill that had nothing or very little to do to stop the illegal immigration.

Well, check out this link that shows the Republican led House did pass a sweeping border bill in May of 2023. The House voted
219-213 to pass the bill, which would restart border wall construction (you know, the wall that biden refused to continue to build),
restrict asylum and more. No Democrats supported the bill, and biden said he would vet the bill anyway.

So now we see libs here any everywhere crying that the Republicans refused to pass a ridiculous immigration bill, but were all
in on stopping the Republican bill back in 2023. Can you say HYPOCRITES?

Biden undid Trump's policies. The "crisis" began because it's widely known that a Dem administration is more friendly toward immigration. Republicans and Democrats started working on a bill do address many issues in the immigration system. They came to agreement, then Trump stepped in and basically killed the whole thing, presumably to keep the border issue active going into the election.

A pretty standard political move, but it IS Republicans who killed the progress toward a solution.

How did you possibly grow up in the Metropolitan Boston area?

Again, look at the OP to see that the Republican congress passed a great and effective bill back in 2023 where not one of the 51 dem senators voted for.
Again, biden was going to veto that bill anyway. So now, after watching biden's open border policy wreak total havoc on America, and on Americans via
these criminal aliens and their deadly cartel's drug infestation with fentanyl, and rampant crime in blue cities from these illegals who are getting tax paid
freebies to remain here, the dems decided that they would blame the Republicans for not passing a ridiculous bill that would virtually have nothing to do
with securing that border. Its not the Republicans that stopped the progress, since it was biden's elimination of all of Trump's border security acts that
started the influx of millions of illegals. But no, liberals need to blame Republicans for the feckless and destructive non executive action policies of biden
as he alone demolished all of Trump's border secure policies some 3+ years ago when the illegals started coming in by the multi millions. Its a little late
now for biden to clean up his mess at the border. The only way it's going to get fixed is when Trump takes over again as #47 potus to MAGA.

I fail to see how there can be a problem. Joe Biden certainly did not destroy the big, beautiful wall that Trump built across the southern border and got Mexico to pay for.

What problem?

He didn't destroy the wall, he just decided not to finish it so as to allow his buddy cartels and criminal aliens to fly all over the country
while receiving our tax paid benefits. Millions upon millions of unwanted aliens are roaming throughout America, and perhaps some are
approaching your living space. None of this destructive shit would have happened under a Trump presidency, and you know it.

If that's true, which I hadn't heard, then Republicans really dropped the ball. Illegal immigration/the border is a huge topic and Biden vetoing a bill would have been absolute GOLD for Republicans!

Yah... we're way to far apart on our views of the bill and I don't really want to spend the time to research what the bill would have done. We can agree to disagree.

Blame?

Nah, just pointing out that the Republicans refusal to endorse the first real immigration reform in fifty years that they help write proves without a doubt that they don’t give a rats ass about the border other than to pimp it as a political issue

And the Democrats are correct

How did the Republicans drop the ball when it was 51 dummycrats who voted against the original bill in 2023?

What bill are you referring to the one in 2023 or this latest one? I've seen the contents of both and I can tell you that the one in 2023 would have tightly secured our border like it was under Trump, and this latest one had virtually nothing in it to secure our border.

Grow up and stop lying for we all know that you never read that so-called immigration bill. Why do you suppose 51 democrat senators voted no on the first border secure bill that would have virtually stopped all of the millions of illegals from getting to the point where now the border crisis is negatively affecting thousands if not millions of Americans?

Lindsey Graham and others claimed it was the best bill ever crafted for the border. Trump killed it.

Here are parts of the bill that DimTater refuses to discuss:

The Bill would have provided $2.104 billion for an additional border wall, as well as $496.2 million to fund 22,000 additional Border Patrol Agents.

Also in the bill - $305.4 million for additional non-intrusive inspection technology, $276 million for new border security technology and $149 million to sustain current border security technology programs.

But since the wall is there, as promised, how can there be a problem?

Joe had time to fix this problem he created on Day One...He refused...
Voters will remind him in November that it was a huge mistake...

Indeed.

The far left Democratic Socialist loons are losing on the border issue, the top priority with American voters.

The Ukraine war, the Middle East on fire, open borders, crime, inflation, Hamas demonstrators in NY screaming death to America, death to Israel, fentanyl coming from China into America through the Biden open borders killing hundreds of thousands of Americans…what more has to happen to America before these far left Democratic Socialist loons are voted out of office?

Which is NOT a policy change ... like REMAIN in Mexico.

Providing more border agents for migrants to surrender to, just speeds up the flow of migrants into the U.S.. Which is still the Leftists' goal.

Biden can mitigate the flow with E.O.'s. Why won't he do it?

Congress passed H.R. 2 border bill which the Senate killed. Why?
