Which type? Few are against, say, bone marrow transplants (one of the more successful forms of adult cell research) while many are against say, creating embryos for the sole purpose of research.

Which kind of stem cells do you think are having trouble getting funding from the NHI, Damo?
 
There are now several ways to obtain steam cells, and a new way has been paved by scientists though President Bush's tough resolve, and we can create steam cells without the destruction of life. So who's not for them?

Yep, certainly.

All we had to do was murder about 10 years worth of people with Alzheimer's.

And what did we get out of it? Those embryos from fertility clinics are now safely rotting in landfills, instead of being cruelly used for stem cell research.

I hear embryos make high-quality fertelizer. Think of the nutrients the conservatives put back into the ground? I didn't know they were that ecologically friendly.
 
fact is democrats made this big fuss about destroying life now, in the name of science, and Conservatives said well lets look at all our options, and low and behold Harvard Scientist just found a way to create steam cells without the destruction of life.
 
If you consider embryos to be life then you should also consider plants and animals precious life too. Are you for killing animals for food we don't need to survive?
