Didn't the UN just get caught LYING about casualty figures? Didn't they have to reduce their lies by a full 100% - cutting the figures in half?

Yep, they sure did. They were taking HAMAS number and pushing them as if they were true - hoping no one would notice.

'Seemingly' - the UN has revised its figures down to avoid being accused of bias. The shock of the ACTUAL figures will be even greater when they are confirmed.

It's genocide- no doubt about it. The UN Special Reporter has already confirmed it- and the ICJ ruling is due soon.

No- seemingly, the UN is quoting its lowest estimate . It's an estimate because only the Gazans can provide the true number. It is them that have been murdered, after all. To date, the figure is over 35,000 dead.

The one in question is Francesca Albanese who has had a long anti-semitic history before she ever got appointed to the position, and on twitter tried to justify Hamas' October attack.

Oh, and her husband used to be directly on the payroll of the Palestinian Authority, which she failed to disclose when her position was up for a vote.......

There are 2.25 million people living in Gaza. According to the Palestinians, there have been 34,000 deaths. I don't know of any "genocide" where 99% of the supposed targeted victims survived...

It's truly amazing that Israel and the Jews have somehow, over multiple decades, managed to magically commit a genocide in which the population of the people supposedly being genocided has increased tenfold (1.4 million in 1948, 14 million in 2022).

It still amounts to less than 2% of the population. Genocides don't happen at 2% loss rates. Get back to me when the Palestinians in Gaza have suffered like 500,000 to 750,000 casualties. Then you might have a case. Of course, that's something like 15 to 20 times the current casualty rate so I don't see that happening any time soon.

The mortality figures of the Gazan medical authority does not make any distinction between dead civilians and dead Hamas fighters.

It would be extraordinarily naive, and possibly intentionally deceptive, to assume this means 35,000 dead innocent civilians, when there's no reasonable doubt that many thousands of Hamas fighters, and the Gazans actively providing them logistical, civil, and administrative support have been eliminated.
