The Philosophy Of Nothing

Is this a kind thing to say to a person who is questioning life?

No

It’s a mean thing to say

You hate people

I don’t know why you hate the world

But you do

At least you are not a trumper

I guess I got to close to the truth for him

You never read Sartre. He did not believe in nothingness.

In particular, Sartre and authors such as Albert Camus explored the more refined (and more macabrely apathetic) concept of existential nihilism, which posits that life has no intrinsic meaning or value—or, as Sartre put it, “existence precedes essence.”

Yet you cannot say a single thing about Sartre.

Sartre put forth several arguments in phenomenology, properly pointing out some fallacies people were making in that branch of philosophy. He also made a few errors in logic when attempting to justify atheism. revealing that he believed in the Church of No God in doing so. He supported Karl Marx.

I can see why you like Sartre.

Which is not nihilism.
