Why is it problematic that the most persecuted people on the planet should be begrudged this tiny almost worthless piece of land that comprises not much more than 1% of the land mass in the Middle East?

Israel became a nation as a result of the mass execution by Nazi Germany and Russian purges. Surely they can be left alone on this tiny strip of land. What is wrong with you people?
