Nah, they're just trolling you. Then they cry, whine and bitch when the Democratic Party (not the government) replaces a candidate who retires with short notice, with a less Democratic process than usual.
Hypocrites who will make any excuse to be unhappy.

Proves they do not care about much other than power. But you know better than to expect from them moral or intellectual consistency.
No different from you. Every day you provoke the right wingers then wonder why they don't respond rationally.Proves they do not care about much other than power.
America isnt a democracy and the Democrat party, the self proclaimed defenders of democracy, CLEARLY has no problem shitting all over democracy. Then they cry, whine and bitch when the Democratic Party (not the government) replaces a candidate who retires with short notice, with a less Democratic process than usual.

?America isnt a democracy and CLEARLY the Democrat party has. I problem shitting on democracy
Fixed it for you. It's even better now
Are you suggesting the delegates did not have a choice who to vote for? When the other side is pointing out your hypocrisy when you call yourself "Democratic" it is not something you should want to focus on.
Pointing out that we are a constitutional republic (which is a form of democratic government, but not a Democracy which is a different form of Democratic Government where there are no representatives, you have to vote on everything in a plain Democracy) and not a simple Democracy is something that Constitutional Conservatives will do... They likely will also continue to point out the hypocrisy of a group of people who use non-democratic means to "bless" their leaders, they will also likely point and laugh while they do it.
Hard to explain it to you because you don't know the meaning of the word, "force."Are you suggesting the delegates did not have a choice who to vote for?

Pointing out that we are a Constitutional Republic (which is a form of democratic government but not a simple Democracy, which is a different form of democratic government where there are no representatives, you have to vote on everything in a simple Democracy nobody wants to be that it would be annoying) and not a simple Democracy is something that Constitutional Conservatives will do... They likely will also continue to point out the hypocrisy of a group of people who use non-democratic means to "bless" their leaders, they will also likely point and laugh while they do it.
I am suggesting that not one of the folks voting in the primary voted for the person that was "blessed" by the party leadership in the end and that is decidedly undemocratic (it is in fact far more republican in means). Are you suggesting the delegates did not have a choice who to vote for?
Nah, you attempt to simplify what they say, to bumper sticker it. When they say we live in a republic they assume (wrongly apparently) that folks are knowledgeable enough to understand that it is democratic (adjective) but not a Democracy (Noun). They believe that words mean things and that there is an important distinction between the two things. That's not what Republicans have been saying though. They have been saying we are NOT a democracy - as in any form of democracy.
It's been stunning to hear since 2020, even from mainstream politicians - but it's reality now.
True, but it was, I assume you agree, an unusual situation, and the delegates were chosen by vote? The delegates had a choice, it was, considering the situation about as Democratic as it could be.I am suggesting that not one of the folks voting in the primary voted for the person that was "blessed" by the party leadership in the end and that is decidedly undemocratic (it is in fact far more republican in means).
The intent of the talking point was not the detailed reasoning, that was the retort.Nah, you attempt to simplify what they say, to bumper sticker it. talk about a gas lighting twilight zone response. Not at all. I have had many of these discussions on this board and elsewhere.
I'm not simplifying anything. You're attempting to cover for a large part of your party, which no longer believes in democracy or elections, and are quickly starting to favor an autocratic form of government.
