US Supreme Court Pauses Order Requiring Return of Deported Man

Illegal immigration is a moot issue.

It’s an 80%-20% issue decided in the last election.

The far left loons in the 20% continue to walk the plank.

Tom Homan: “ICE decides who will be deported.”

Most Americans are also compassionate people, and while supporting deportation, do not support doing it in an inhumane way.

The Supreme Court has granted a request by the Trump administration to temporarily block a lower court order requiring that a deported Salvadorian man be returned to the US.

Chief Justice John Roberts agreed to pause a ruling that Kilmar Abrego Garcia should be brought back from El Salvador by midnight on Monday.

The government has said Mr Garcia was deported on 15 March due to an "administrative error", although they also allege he is a member of the MS-13 gang, which his lawyer denies.

In its emergency appeal to America's highest court, the Trump administration argued the Maryland judge lacked authority to issue the order and that US officials cannot compel El Salvador to return Mr Garcia.
More winning.

I'd have to disagree.

This particular case is cruel. The gov't admitted a mistake. They should bring this guy back.

He will lose supporters for mass deportation if he pursues this kind of thoughtless, cruel implementation of it.
It is only cruel to America hating leftist dumbfucks like you. For those of us with brains, this is awesome.

“Pauses,” didn’t rule against, “paused,” and what Roberts “paused” was the midnight deadline, meaning Trump didn’t have to return the guy who his AG was wrongfully sent immediately

Most Americans, however, have a sense of compassion, empathy and justice.

Only for the victims of criminal aliens. For those of us without brains and who hate America, you want them brought back. Nothing screams MORON louder than that.

The gov't made a mistake w/ this guy. All they're doing now is saying that they can't really admit they made a mistake.

There was no mistake. The ILLEGAL alien came into the country ILLEGALLY. He is only entitled to deportation.

But, you can show your immense compassion by sponsoring this criminal alien and having him live with you when he is vetted and applies legally.

I won't hold my breath. Leftist compassion always ends up on someone else's doorstep.

This is a father & family man. Why do we need to be this cruel?

He is a criminal alien of a gang. Just stop with the stupid okay?

If you care so much and are so compassionate, help him to apply legally and sponsor him and his family to come live with you.

You might want to fact check that one.

I'm trying to help here. Most Americans support deportations, but most are also human beings. Stories like this one don't play well outside of MAGA, and they will likely change public sentiment on this issue.
I don't see you offering him and his family a home at your place. Where is your compassion? :palm:

There were never any indictments or anything besides a single source's claim to prove he was in the gang, from everything I've seen about this.

I guess that's why there is such a clamor for due process. These are devastating mistakes to make if we're wrong on someone.

Is it too much to ask to be a little more careful about not just who they deport - but who they send to this prison? By what I've read, it sounds like one of the worst places in the world. This isn't justice, or good policy.
 This is why it is dumb to argue with a lying leftist idiot. You just end up in a never-ending circle of stupidity. It's better to just point at them and laugh.
