I see your people here blaming Obama, not the teacher. A contrived "gotcha". Are you saying she cleared it with the White House or did it on her own in which case Obama is without blame for the lyrics or the incident, correct?

How am I blaming anybody other than the teachers?

It's not like this is the first of the videos to come out or the last doing the same thing. Why is it that teachers suddenly think it appropriate to sing praises to a fledgling President? It really isn't appropriate, and I stated that I would remove my children from a school that didn't know off the bat that this was wildly inappropriate. I never said, "Well, this is all that Obama's fault!"

However I do mention that remaining complacent about it now can only lead us down a path that legitimizes the politicizing of the classrooms. It isn't as if there isn't a perception that teachers already work to push their political agenda, now they just don't bother to hide it.
