Then I don't understand your comment that people aren't voting on 'facts'.
In 2004 the American public at a rate of 70% thought Sdam did 911.

To be fair, the vast majority of those are people who believe that there is no evidence, but think that sometimes people can hide their involvement in things. The sad thing is about 30% of them still believe that Sadam was involved in 911...

There is no reason to be "fair" on this one. Most people cling to it out of nothing but stubborn insistence, because they are unable to admit they were wrong or stupid (see: Dixie).
These people don't deserve fairness; they deserve scorn. They deserve to have their voter registration permanently revoked.
Do you have a source for that stat?
Thanks Desh. And since then there has been studies by our govt and others showing no link. But about 30% still believe.....
30% of our people are just plain mentally defunct.
That poll was in Sept. 2003. People didn't vote until Nov. 2004 if you are claiming that poll is the reason W. won re-election.
That's pretty weak.

That is not evidence of a current statistic on how many believe Saddam was involved in 9/11 currently. A poll from September 2003 certainly is not evidence of current understanding.
You believe that's why W. won in '04?
