Walz tells an audience that he carried guns "in war” another lie

In the X video linked he did, but we can't trust that nowadays. Whatever it won't change minds especially on that topic.
After reviewing the X Video...I see that he actually did say that he carried it in war.

The statement that I read indicated that the weapons that are carried in war should not be on the streets...

...and he put it in, "The weapons that I carried...form.

There was a war going on...and he was carrying a weapon.

But in the X Video...he did say that he carried a weapon into war.

I WAS WRONG...HE DID SAY IT.

THE PEOPLE WHO SAID I WAS WRONG...WERE CORRECT.

I APOLOGIZE TO EVERYONE...TO THE PEOPLE WHO MADE THE CHARGE AND WHO CORRECTED ME AND TO THE OTHERS WHO ACCEPTED MY INCORRECT COMMENTS.

I WAS WRONG...THEY WERE CORRECT.

Well done, not many on the left…or right will own up to their mistakes.

His statement on Socialism is true too.

It’s too damn hot here for golf and the Braves are getting clobbered…again.

Bummer.

Minn. National Guard Disputes Walz's Military Biography

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s military biography is being disputed by the state’s National Guard, which claims the Democrat vice presidential nominee did not hold the rank of command sergeant major at the time of his retirement, Newsweek reported Wednesday.

Walz’s official gubernatorial biography on the Minnesota’s official website states, “Command Sergeant Major Walz retired from the 1-125th Field Artillery Battalion in 2005.” But Army Lt. Col. Army Kristen Augé, the state public affairs officer for the Minnesota National Guard, said Wednesday the governor retired as a master sergeant "because he did not complete additional coursework at the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy," Newsweek reported.

As noted earlier, it is now proven that Tampon Tim was arrested for drunk driving, is a lying, stolen valor thief, and a Socialist.

More to come.

It certainly is not something I wanted to do...but when I am shown to be wrong, I always issue an acknowledgement and an apology.

I done it many times, because I often respond while angry...and say something I should not have.

I still do not think it was stolen valor. Everyone, including he himself, knew he had never been deployed to a war zone. It was a stupid/careless thing that he should have avoided. Wording his comments more carefully could have done the same thing he wanted and still been true.

In any case, I think he will make a good vice-president when sworn into that office in January of next year.

Way too hot for golf for someone my age, but I have played a few times despite that....to my regret.

Yankees are scoring and defending nicely...but still not dominating like they should be.

The MAGA cult cracks anyone up

Now they are attacking Walz’s military record, the same crowd that didn’t think McCain was a hero cause he got caught, the guy served 24 years in the Guard, deployed twice overseas, and stepped down to run for Congress, and this is somehow bad. No wonder veterans are now attacking Vance (https://www.newsweek.com/jd-vance-military-tim-walz-veterans-stolen-valor-1936273)

And if we are going to got there, Vance served four years as a public relations officer, he never was in harm’s way, his greatest threat was getting a paper cut

I believe that you served and to veterans, stolen valor, whether about serving in a war zone or lying about rank is despised and if done while in the service, is a violation of the UCMJ.

I served on many Officer Boards. Mostly Article 13’s, never a stolen valor Article, but I would have recommended a dishonorable duscharge.

Yankees are good but not World Series caliber. Too many stars trying to pad their stats. The Braves stink. They probably won’t even make the playoffs.

If the Democrats win, I would have preferred a more moderate ticket, Kamala and Tim are way too far left for America.

How about a recent photo…your last one was several years ago and showed that you did age well.

Yes, he did .

You really are desperate, receptionist.
Link me up... I do not believe you. If he uttered those words, you took him way out of context.

He carried a firearm protecting a forigh base during a time of war... So I think even if he did say it, its true. But who give a shit when Trump used wealth and privlidge to send someone other than himself to die in Vietnam.

Try reading the dozen or so links by me and other posters showing that Tampon Tim lied about caring a weapon in war and his rank.

He was not in a war, he was in Europe, the war was in an Iraq, another continent.

You are a piece of work.

Ross D. has agreed that he lied, he has more character than you…far more.

Just answer the phones, the adults are debating.

If he said it as appears he did apply one black check mark against his name. When the black check marks if any are marked for Trump we'll compare.

So what if he lied, your cult leader does it every day.

You aren’t even worthy of a response.

Post on a children’s forum.

They won’t mind your total ignorance of current events and your near total illiteracy.

Good grief.

This tread is about the lying, valor stealing Socialist who was arrested for drunk driving.

Start your own thread, Marty.

Poor Marty.

I did serve. 4 years in the Air Force...mostly in SAC. Thankfully, I never saw combat. The Korean War was just winding down...although I was in service before its end.

I still do not think what Walz said amounts to stolen valor. But he should have stuck with his original wording. I don't know what Article 13 is, but Article 15 does not allow for dishonorable discharge. Punishment under it is usually moderate. I got an article 15 for a late 3 day week-end...and was sentenced to base confinement for three weeks.

I am not an enthusiastic baseball fan, although I do go to a Yankee (and our local AA minor league team) game occasionally. I am a football fan...and my team, THE GIANTS, have run into hard times. Cannot wait to see what they have this year. QB situation is still up in the air...and they traded Sequan Barkley to the Eagles, of all teams.
If the Democrats win, I would have preferred a more moderate ticket, Kamala and Tim are way too far left for America.

I am socially pretty far left, so I am happy with whatever I can get. I just do not want Trump back in office.

How about a recent photo…your last one was several years ago and showed that you did age well.
Haven't had a photo taken in about two years. The age factor is catching up to me. I also try not to look in the mirror unless absolutely necessary. Gonna be 88 tomorrow. Just about everyone else in my paternal family died at age 87 or less...although two of my maternal aunts got to 93.

We'll see!
