Take a look at who is backing Barack Hussein Obama. CodePINK is currently supporting Obama. CodePINKs Jodie Evans donated $50,000 to the Obama campaign. So much for sisterhood. Jane Fonda has also stated her support for Obama. Why does this matter? Let's take a look at who these people are and what they support.

"I would think that if you understood what Communism was, you would hope, you would pray on your knees, that we would someday become communists."
-- Jane Fonda speaking to a student audience at the Michigan State University on Nov. 22, 1969

"I, a socialist, think that we should strive toward a socialist society, all the way to communism."
-- Jane Fonda, 11 December 1970, according to the House Committee on Internal Security (HCIS)

"To make the revolution in the United States is a slow day-by-day job that requires patience and discipline. It is the only way to make it... All I know is that despite the fact that I am one of the people who benefit from a capitalist society, I find that any system which exploits other people cannot and should not exist."
-- Jane Fonda, during a telephone interview with the People's World, the West Coast's Communist Party publication 18 July 1970

"We've got to establish a Socialist economic structure that will limit private profit-oriented businesses. Whether the transition is peaceful depends on the way our present governmental leaders react. We must commit our lives to this transition... We should be very proud of our new breed of soldier... It's not organized but it's mutiny, and they have every right."
-- Jane Fonda, reported by Karen Elliott, Dallas Morning News at the University of Texas 11 December 1971

"We understand that Nixon's aggression against Vietnam is a racist aggression, that the American war in Vietnam is a racist war, a white man's war... We deplore that you are being used as cannon fodder for U.S. imperialism."
-- Jane Fonda speaking to South Vietnamese soldiers at the height of the Vietnam War
Here is Tom Hayden, the ex Mr. Jane Fonda.

"Communism is one of the options that can improve people's lives."
-- Tom Hayden, former California State Senator as quoted in the New York Times on 18 April 1975
And here we have some golden nuggets from the ladies of CodePINK.
"I actually think it is people like myself who have been fighting for our rights to free speech and I would like the right to defend my own right to free speech, not have soldiers doing it for me. I don't think I need soldiers."
-- Medea Benjamin, co-founder of CodePINK on "Hannity and Colmes" October 2007

"We civilians defend our own right to free speech. The military in Iraq does not defend our right to free speech."
-- Medea Benjamin, co-founder of CodePINK on "Hannity and Colmes" October 2007

"If it weren't for people like the people in Berkeley, standing up for what they believe, we'd be living under Hitler."
-- Medea Benjamin, co-founder of CodePINK, February 2008

"We have nothing against communism."
-- Jodie Evans, co-founder and CodePINK Leader
If you look at the website www.targetofopportunity.com/codepink_updates.htm, you can see other CodePINK protesters calling American troops "terrorists" in numerous video clips.

Who else is supporting and claims membership in the Obama gang.

"The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law and then wants us to sing 'God Bless America.' No, no, no, God damn America, that's in the Bible for killing innocent people. God damn America for treating our citizens as less than human. God damn America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme."
-- Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago in a 2003 sermon

"We bombed Hiroshima, we bombed Nagasaki, and we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon, and we never batted an eye. We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans, and now we are indignant because the stuff we have done overseas is now brought right back to our own front yards. America's chickens are coming home to roost."
-- Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago in a sermon after the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001
"A handkerchief-head, chicken-and- biscuit-eating Uncle Tom."
-- Spike Lee on Justice Clarence Thomas

"All you Jews can go straight to hell."
-- Quannell X, National Youth minister for the Nation Of Islam, New York Daily News, October 17, 1995

"America must be burned! America is no good at all."
-- Louis Farrakhan, Leader of the Nation of Islam

"The Jews don't like Farrakhan, so they call me Hitler. Well, that's a good name. Hitler was a very great man. He rose Germany up from the ashes."
-- Louis Farrakhan, Leader of the Nation of Islam, 1984

"The white man is our mortal enemy, and we cannot accept him. I will fight to see that vicious beast go down into the late of fire prepared for him from the beginning, that he never rise again to give any innocent black man, woman or child the hell that he has delighted in pouring on us for 400 years."
-- Louis Farrakhan, City College audience in New York

Those people have the right to support whoever they want to support for president.

BTW code pink says those people were not part of their group and were planted to give them bad press. This is part of what this current rtepublican party does.

They send in people to protest recounts who claim to be local citizens and then are identified as republican operatives from out of town in pictures.

This is not a new tactic its been used for years.

I don't like some of the statements that the Codepink ladies come out with. It's almost as if they are trying to "push the envelope". (Full disclosure: that is meant to be an "airquote" not an actuall quote). But their outfits are to die for. Benjamin is a 5 shrugger. Shrug meaning "oy, i've seen nicer, i've seen worser". Jodi Evans is a tall, strapping, knockout. My friend Leon can make himself up to look exactly like her, it would blow you down and that is straight talk. We were in Washington and he did his "Jodi Evansasque" and quicker than you can say "Bob Dole got no woody", they let us in to Poets and Busboys. They thought Leon really was Jodi Evans! They called him "Ms. Evans" and all. We did arrive in a limosine. That probably helped. Leon is black. And even more surprisingly, he's a man. I did not think he could pull it off. But they might have thought that Ms. Evans had a good tan. Who knows how these things happen?

Leon is more to the left than me. He is a big fan. I would say I am a moderate fan. Level 5. There are people I like less than Codepink. There are people I like more.

That's a shocker. I really would have put my money on Code Pink going for McCain this time around...

They are not as moderate as Mr. McCain. I doubt they would endorse him, but who really knows these things for sure?

Good topic and good supporting facts.

I'm sure McCain is glad that Fonda is backing Barrack Hussein O'bama. Along with Ted Kennedy, it should be worth some votes for McCain.

Her name really should be found next to "Traitor" in the Dictionary.

I'm sure there are sick child molesters in every political party, but it is curious that anyone would want to bring them into a political discussion. Just go back to calling him McShame or Bush... and other good political name calling, but try to avoid the "sick".

Yeah, I knew all that.

I also know that McCain publicly supports and still supports mass murderers and totalitarians. Given vague connections or McCains evil support of the forrces that are planning to destroy America from within, the conservatives, I have no option but to vote for a great leader like Obama.

Watermark can I do anything to convince you to just stay home?

watermark if I got "redheaded girl" to have sex with you would you consider not voting for obama?

I would vote for Hitler for that sex, Grind, but it's impolite to bring it into political discussion. Besides, McCain is going to carry this state no matter who I vote for, and sometimes I just like to go into ridiculous left-wing rants.

You know, there are a lot of peace groups out there. A.N.S.W.E.R in particular being so radical that for a few years, CP didn’t want to be affiliated with them. There are others, the ad-hoc coalition in NY, just a bunch.

I have tried and tried to figure out what about CP drives these guys crazy and the only thing I could ever come up with, since they are far from the most radical group out there, is that it’s because they’re women. It’s misogyny. It’s not just on this board. These freaks stalk us even at big marches in DC, they find out where CP is meeting pre-march for their own rally that morning.

Did anyone see 30 Rock last night?

- Alec Baldwin realized that he could never get black people to vote for Republicans, so he had a campaign geared toward keeping them home!

Damn I missed that, I bet it was hysterical. Alec Baldwin makes that whole show.
