I don't care who uses any word, it's just a word.
I do find it hypocritical to insist that one can use a word but not the other. And don't bother invoking incorrect speech.
I am wondering if you call developmentally challenged people retards (or some form of that).

When you quote a definition...you should have shown your source............irregardless..............................do you know anyone who is completely intolerant of all creeds, beliefs, or opinions that is different from their own? That would be a very rare person...and by that definition a bigot would be a very rare critter in deed.

That bigot is supposed to represent in a court of law someone who retains him. And his words indicate he has a low opinion of blacks. Jarod is right, the bigot's comments call into question whether he can be a fair representative of blacks with lawsuits.

If you click on the hyperlink in blue, you'll see it comes from Dictionary.com.

You don't have to love anybody, black, white, Hispanic, Asian, Muslim, Catholic etc. But when you hate and discriminate because of race, religion or nationality, that's bigotry.

The Def uses the singular form of creed etc. This limits the disagreement to just the one thing to qualify. It also implies the need for a qualifier related to bigot to specify what specifically the object is.

Prosecutors Are Not Retained By The defendant.
And any lawyer is supposed to zealously defend regardless of the accusition or personal opinions.
If anything he brought a stain on the judiciary but only if people knew who he was.

We've had some issues here in PA over judges and their language towards women and minorities.

In a complaint filed with the Court of Judicial Discipline, the board held Eakin, who has been on the court since 2002, violated rules that instruct judges to avoid off-bench activities that create an appearance of impropriety or call into question a judge's impartiality."

This is about the integrity of the system, not their private biases.

No that is not bigotry that is simply discrimination....now you can break down discrimination into several categories aka racial, religious, nationality, sexuality etc. all of those listed here are illegal if you are an employer.

Yet, anytime you limit a free people's ability to discriminate you are restricting their liberty....and this nonsense is increasing...people best wake up.

Note it does not say completely intolerant as your lame definiton claimed. There are many different levels of intolerance....the worst being found in the Muslim Nations where their intolerance can and often does result in maimings, beheading, stoning to death etc.etc. and so forth.

So for a dictionary to say 'completely intolerant' as being a component of bigotry is over the top and stooopid.

You have been schooled and should feel honored I have taken the time to do so...do not think I will do it that often....most of the ignorance and stooopidity I see on here I simply ignore....I do not have the time or inclination to deal with much of it.
