But members of Congress make the decisions. Independents voted for Democrats or Republicans. It is hard to act in a bi-partisan manner when half of Congress opposes the other half.

Again, both major parties are better at serving themselves than the nation. Would it really be better to give such a party dominance of our government? Or is it better to keep them off balance and balanced with the opposition?
The left in general and Biden in specific have never threatened violence. That is a huge difference. The goofball Trumpys on this board threaten it every day and brag about it like they are proud of threatening the country. End America for Trump. What a great election sign that would be.
