What Wisconsin means

Did you take math in school?

Results so far:

Senate seat gains by Democrats = +2

Senate seat gains by Republicans = -2

What it means is the Republicans almost lost control of the legislature, and the discussion is "front and center" and continues. Unions will never be dead, as people will side with them over corporations. The ol' "good vs. evil " thing. Pssst. In the end, good always kicks evil's ass.

1) The Dems won one seat in a district that is dominated by Dems.... good job

2) The Dems won the other seat where the Rep was found to be an adulterer living OUT of district with his 20 year old mistress and his wife was campaigning FOR his recall....

GREAT job DEMS!

The other four contests.... NOT... EVEN... CLOSE

People will only continue to lose interest in unions more and more as time goes by. Such has been the case over the last half-century...

Now that's an assesment I can't agree with. This is not a good vs evil issue and it's that sort of poisinous rhetoric we can live with out. This is two sides of a divisive issue fighting for what they believe are their rights and economic interest. This is not good vs evil.

Really? Would you support a union if it improved your work place conditions so that you dont' have to take unreasonable abuses from your employer and it doubled your standard of living? Would you? Dont never say never. You're to young and inexperienced to even understand what your talking about.

What it means is, that despite outspending the state senators by 10s of millions of dollars the Unions were unable to demonize the republicans enough to take a majority in hand-selected areas of the state where they used to hold seats.

It's nice that you changed your post, but it's still misleading. Here are the four Republican Senators that held their seats last night and their length of service in the Senate:

Shelia Harsdorf has held office since 2001. She was preceded in office by a Republican who served since 1992.

Luther Olsen has held his seat since 2004. He was preceded in office by a Republican who served since 1994.

Alberta Darling has held her seat since 1993.

Robert Cowles has held his seat since 1987.

So, while I'm sure that at some point in the history of the Wisconsin State Senate these seats were previously held by Democrats, they haven't been held by Democrats in at least 17 years.

Oh, please. How do you know? We only recently became aware of the Koch Bros. involvement with Gov. Walker. Who is to say that the Republicans weren't aided and abetted by the same?
Demonize? Have you heard about Congress' poll numbers? They are substantially less than Obama's. The Union issue will be one that will be addressed in the election year.

Oh, contraire. Willing to "gut" Medicare, Medicaid, education, welfare to children, care for the elderly and the infirmed???????????? You best believe it's a question of "good vs. evil". You better come out from under those Pollyanna petticoats, and wake up and smell the freshly brewed coffee.

You want to talk about "the children". We need to stop your pals from spending so the children of the next generation will not be in debt up to their eyeballs before they get their first job. Idiot.

Congressional poll numbers are always lower than the president because people tend to like "their guy" and more likely to dislike everyone else's guys. The historical trend is what matters though, and more people mistrust congress now than at any time in recent history: http://www.pollingreport.com/CongJob1.htm

Girls, girls, girls...I've listened to what you've had to say in previous postings, and have concluded that it's dribble.
