Yup. However, just like Obama was a member from a choice made by family in his childhood of a religion that calls you "Apostate" if you convert to another religion and we accept that he is actually not a member of that religion, so too it would apply to Rubio.
Do you understand that this person that started this thread would call it religious bigotry if I said that Obama is a Muslim, but in this instance disregards an equal allusion to another?

One actually CAN leave the "Mormon" church (LDS Church), you actually state it in this post, it is unique in my experience therefore (and the reason I have asked for one single link to an official page stating you can never do that...)
The assumption that it will matter here but we should ignore the same circumstance (parents choosing your religion as a child) with one person, but attempt to spread it about another is bigotry based in partisanship.
It's not a card, you are deliberately spreading ignorance and when given an opportunity to correct you jump in with both feet.
Can you provide one link from the Church that states you can never leave the LDS Church? If not, you are simply spreading ignorance, which is currently purposeful if you will not change your assertions to fit the actual facts.

It is when you continue to say it when shown to be wrong and use it as a stick to "beat" them with.

1) Deliberately spreading something that is false about a group is absolutely bigotry.
2) When you state something as a fact and then use that fact to defend you other 'positions' it most certainly does make you an idiot. If you are going to comment on what a religion believes, you should actually make sure you know what you are talking about.
3) Just go to the LDS website Jarod. LDS members can get divorced, they can submit to have their names removed from the rolls, they can have marriages annulled. You aren't even remotely close to being right. No matter how much Dung and Onceler defend your ignorance, you are still ignorant.
Don't be deliberately obtuse, stupid doesn't look good on you and it cripples your ability to even appear as if you are trying to argue something.

It is possible that he never resigned, however we grant Obama the respect of believing his professed religion. To do otherwise would be bigotry. We should provide the same respect to another Christian, or recognize our own religious bigotry and hypocrisy.

1) I never called Rubio a Mormon. From my perspective he is a Catholic. From the perspective of two mormon friends I was speaking with over the weekend he is a Mormon.
2) If you said that the President was a Muslam in the eyes of Islam, I would not call you a bigot, I would agree with you.
3) If you said that you belived the President to be a Muslam, I would not call you a bigot. I might argue with you reasoning or call you bilnded by partisenship, but I would not call you a bigot.

The fact remains that once you've joined the LDS church, thechurch hierarchy consider you a member for life...no matter what YOU do or which religion you convert to later, the CHURCH will consider you Mormon.
My family joined the LDS church when I was high school...some 35 years ago...and although I quit going soon after and I've moved numerous times since, the missionaries always manage to find me and stop by to say hi.
I dont believe you have ever admited to having been wrong, maybe I dont remember. If you did, then obvously I apologise!
Where have I "beat" anyone with my belife that Mormons believe that once baptised Mormon you remain a Mormon?
I belive it because I was told it to be true by MORMONS.... Just because there is no official LDS cite that says differnetly does not mean its not true.

Please link us up to the LDS site's area that says this. Because it is not true from all accounts I have heard. So do enlighten us.
1) You clearly do not know what bigotry is.
2) Just because you can get divorced or have your name removed does not mean they belive you are no longer a Mormon.
From a Mormon perspective it woukd be a double Mormon ticket, to me that is not necessarly a bad thing.
So, if a cite does not say it, it cant be true? WOW, thats a new maxium..... Im sure the scientifc community will be abuzz with that new information!
