Condi Rice for VP?

My hope is they'll pick Allen West. That would be awesome to watch him pWn Biden in debates.
Does anyone actually really care about Vice Presidential debates? The only one I've watched was the Biden/Palin debate cause I curious to see of Palin would crash and burn. She did. What was funny was it was painfully obvious that Bidden was treating her with kid gloves too. Other than that it was completely inconsequential.

West has basically destroyed any real chance at higher office for himself, he has been too much of a flame thrower.

Speaking as one of his constituents, I have met him several times and have to say he is a hell of a nice guy!
Yea you know that is deceptive. I met Senator John Ashcroft at a meet n greet in Caruthersville, MO and he was charming and incredibly witty man. Not at all what I expected from his public image.

So would Colin Powel but he has the same problem that Rice would have. Except that Powel did resign after his first term and he has his famous "Pottery Barn Rules" comment but still he was the one who did a major sales job on the run up to the immoral war in Iraq. That would be a problem.

When Powell jumped ship to support Obama in 2008 he ruined any shot at being looked at for anything like this. If Obama dumped the dope for Powell though... That would be a game changer.

Don't forget Mitt was pro-choice untill he decided to run for president...

All he needs is a quick shake of the etch a sketch and he can be pro-choice again, just like Rice!

Good Gawd! The right has major issues with just a black president! Can you imagine the meltdowns if we had a black president AND vice president?

Really? I think you seriously miscalculate that the records of those who put this country into a shithole isn't relevent. Grinds right. Rice would alienate swing voters.

No, I think you seriously miscalculate how little the average American cares about Iraq at this time. The only people still bitter over Iraq, are a handful of ideologues such as yourself, and you're never getting over it. TO YOU this is a big deal, to everyone else out there, not so much. The swing voter wants to know what the candidates are going to do to bring jobs back, to get the economy going again. They aren't waiting to see who makes the best argument for the wisdom of Iraq. IF Condi were nominated, and that is the direction Dems took, to rehash Iraq, it would be the proverbial kiss of death for them. Mark my words. The country does NOT want to hear another debate on Iraq... YOU might, that might be what YOU would like to hear, but the rest of America doesn't give two shits at this point. Iraq is over, we've pulled out most of our troops, and it doesn't really matter whether it was right, wrong, or in-between. It makes absolutely NO difference to someone who is without a job, or on the brink of losing a job.

Grind isn't a good measure, I don't think he or you have every been right about anything political. Just saying.

Btw, no way she will be chosen...

I don't think she will be chosen but I think she is getting a look.

she is single

So what?

Again, so what? Are kids a prerequisite?

Owns a house with another very liberal woman!

So? are you implying she's gay? Wow, wouldn't that make liberal heads explode....heh, heh....

Oh, and in many ways the archectect of tge Iraq War.

How many "architects" do you people want to invent? I mean seriously...Libs will cry if the under secretary to the assistant, to the secretary, of the head of white house car parking in the Bush era white house were to be mentioned...It's pathetic.

Interesting but it won't happen. Powell is on record as being owing a commitment to being a Republican and lets face it. Powell did this nation and the Republican party a huge favor by ending the run of dominance of the far right in the Republican party. To wit, a moderate business man stomped the right wingers and teabaggers in the Presidential primary.

I think the country is at the point of developing, if not already having a case of predisposed, 4 year gestational, AB (anybody but ______) syndrome. That is to say, anyone that gets in and doesn't right this country, or make it clear that it is on the path is outta there unceremoniously.
