i fail to see why you only post responses to ad hom rana. you and i actually see eye to eye on more than you realize. but for some weird reason, you only respond to my posts to insult or whine about something.

help me out here rana. what didn't i know about? i saw a post where darla clearly said she created a troll to do X. i commented that X is an example of her mental instability.

I think that is another canard that should be vanquished. Mailer was not anti feminist, he railed against totalitarianism as his son so eloquently describes here.

Of course, much of that would seemingly apply to you as well.

Tom are you aware that you can find quotes denouncing every person who ever lived on the internet? Do you honestly believe that because you found a woman who doesn't like The Second Sex, you have debunked a masterpiece of feminist text? I really think you do believe that. Doubleday named Kate Millett's Sexual Politics one of the ten most important books it had published in ONE HUNDRED years. Of course the groundbreaking feminist literary critique of Mailer, DH Lawrence, and Henry Miller has many critics. It's a groundbreaking work and one of the cornerstones of feminist thinking. It shone a harsh light on the misogyny in the writings of the aforementioned three. I've read it three times in my life, it's that important of a book, and that eye-opening. Especially for someone who studied English Lit and was told Henry Miller's sexual brutality and dehuminazation of women were "genius".

It is in response to this text that Mailer wrote his essay (I'll leave it to you to dig up the name, I know it, but as soon as I write it you'll google the title so you can wiki it and write something about it that makes it appear as if you knew about it all along and are lecturing ME on the topic) and made many inflmmatory public slurs against feminists, giving him his well-earned reputation as an anti-feminist. Millet's work already gave him the reputation as a sexist ass. Well, you know the type.

You couldn't get through the book. And not because it's "boring". It's revolutionary. But it doesn't have pictures and it's never been released on video.

First of all there is about ZERO chance you actually took my post seriously. You're just trying to bother me. That's what you live for; bothering people.

More importantly you are such an offensive little titmouse. Your tactics are so sexist they make me laugh. You are always attempting to cause division by offering cookies to one of us. You did it with me right after werewolf when you were obsessed with Rana and Christie. Did it work for you yurt? No. And it wont' work any better this time. You are laboring under the notion that all women will mewl and crawl for the big moist cookie of male approval...even if the "man" in question is a whiny little titmouse. Surely the approval of a whiny little titmouse male must be worth so much! Surely Rana will fall over herself grabbing for that cookie. Then you can have us fighting!

You're not only an idiot, your opinion of women is very low. But then any woman who would agree to associate with you probably lives down to it.
