The amount of income can be estimated if you are handy with a calculator. He probably paid about 15% on earnings from dividends, and 35% on actual earned income.... (the same rates as you or anyone else pays.)

The thing is, most of Romney's income probably comes from investment dividends on money that was already once taxed as earned income. Where you spent your money on a bottle of ripple or malt liquor and bought lottery tickets, Romney put his money in the bank and made it work for him. It now earns dividends each year, that's his reward... yours was the bottle of ripple and lottery tickets. Romney did't enjoy ripple and lottery tickets, he made the sacrifice of saving his money instead. But now, you want to claim that ins't fair, he hasn't paid his fair share, and he shouldn't be rewarded for investing and saving instead of blowing his money like you.

Most people who aren't completely retarded, can objectively look at a $3 million tax liability, and see that he paid a fuckload of taxes! It doesn't matter what his income was, $3 million is still a LOT of money to pay in tax. It's a considerably larger percentage than Charlie Rangel or Tim Geithner, who paid 0%, don't you think? Why aren't you outraged at that?
