This is quite Ironic given that is Obama's foreign policy to a T
again, take your own advice... travel abroad... see what they think of Obama... either he is hated (Mideast) or is thought of as a pushover (rest of world). He has done nothing to garner respect.
Obama had a few of those as well as we've already talked about in other threads... And trying to use the State Department to make anti-US protests and killings into something about a trailer for a "movie"... Come on, nobody is that stupid.
Right now, this nation needs some help in the Foreign Policy arena, four more years of the same isn't getting us anywhere near where we need to be. When all you have is OBL is dead and GM which is almost into bankruptcy again to run on, it is time to find your replacement.

I did not state that it did, I said that the metric being used to declare AL is a poor state was not a good one because it does not incorporate differences in COL.

What you want to look at is the chart I posted. I know you leftnuts want to keep harping on Bush... But take a look at Obama vs. Obama ... 2009 vs now... that will tell you how much people think of him and his policies. Simply shouting 'he better then Bush' does not change Obama's pathetic foreign policy record.
What was he supposed to compare it against? I mean, any other former President would not be at all relevant.
Not to mention, it is not as if you clowns did not apolgize for Bush the same way you did McCain and Romney. You will probably try to resurrect him someday, like many have tried to do with Nixon.
Of course, he would have enjoyed a wave of "good feeling" at the beginning of his term. Let's ask again after the next Repub gets in and I bet his numbers go through the roof. That will be 2017 at the earliest.
I can't imagine Romney's standing on the same chart would be significantly different than Bush IIs.

Yea then how comes according to Gallop polls which show that in 2012 the US is the most popular world power with 47% global approval and under Bush that same rating was 33% and we trailed Germany, Japan, France, Russia and China in popularity?
I also have my own anecdotal experience of traveling abroad during the Bush years where every time I went abroad after 2003 I was asked by someone "Why does the USA hate us?"
I mean use some common sense. Anyone who thinks implementing southern conservative redneck foreign policy is going to win us friends abroad is just plain nuts!
