Yeah, yeah, yeah, lets get rid of the limitations that are meant to protect the poor and hinder polluting corporations first then we will be libertarian. Save it! It won't help anyway.
You sound an awful lot like a liberal instead of a libertarian.
Be honest and go after the corporate welfare recipients FIRST. That's how Romney COULD HAVE won and appealed to everyone. It's too late for him. If the GOP does not heed this it will be too late for the party.
How do you think corporate welfare gets its start? It starts with one business trying to use the force of government to make their competitors less competitive. Once other businesses see that it works, then it just becomes a matter of time before all want to do it. YOu are like many who decry corporate welfare. YOu do so in the abstract, but you aren't really serious about it. You just want your favored entities subsidized. I get it. I hear it from liberals all the time. I don't expect to hear it from supposed libertarians
Nobody trusts the fake version of limited government and that is all you know. That fake version dooms the real advocates of limited government and empowers those who only want to grow the government.
I am the one that wants to eliminate ALL corporate subsidies and yet you are the serious one about corporate welfare. I guess if that is the alternate universe you have created for yourself, have at it
Who gets more subsidies gas or coal? I don't know, but the answer is to stop the subsidies that only benefit the rich, not the limitations that are meant to protect us.
Kudos for knocking down that straw man. I didn't even see it coming
David Stockman knows the score. He was on the inside. He is more libertarian than you and certainly more than Romney or Ryan.
"The ground of liberty is to be gained by inches, and we must be contented to secure what we can get from time to time and eternally press forward for what is yet to get. It takes time to persuade men to do even what is for their own good." --Thomas Jefferson to Charles Clay, 1790. ... and don't give me no bs about mistakes he made at a younger age or the slavery that he knew was corrupting him.
OK, you worship at the altar of David Stockman. I guess that makes you a libertarian. You are free to call yourself anything you want
