Obama is going to win the election because he likes chocolate chip cookies
Right. The idea of a candidate losing because voters decide they like the other guy - it has nothing to do with his character.

you keep moving the goal posts.
Romney was already losing in the polls at the time the 47% video came out right? Since then he has gained in the polls. I think we can pretty safely assume it wasn't that video that gave him the boost in the polls (though that is just conjecture on my part) and assuming the 47% video was viewed as a negative I'm not sure how we measure how much bigger his poll boost could have been without that video surfacing.
Well, it doesn't matter. Because he's going to lose. The majority of voters are turned off by his detached sense of entitlement and his cavalier attitude regarding the 47%. Debate bounces, polls, etc. - none of it matters.
Stick a fork in him.
Maybe I'm missing what is being discussed here. To argue whether Romney will win or lose is one thing. To argue Romney is going to lose because of the 47% tape when the numbers don't show it is another thing completely.
now bijou is trying to spin her comments that it will be a general discount of his character, rather than what she said earlier - that he will lose specifically because of the 47% comment. even though there are no polls or any data that would suggest that.
The 47% tape isn't the determinant. The 47% remarks merely confirm what has been casting doubts about Romney's character. Romney himself continues to demonstrate - with his actions, past AND present - why he is unfit.
Romney's 47% comments will continue to brought up because they confirm what he has demonstrated, over and over. They confirm that he's a sociopath and a self-serving opportunist. He will lose because people will choose not to vote for the sociopath/opportunist.
The 47% isn't the only comment from that speech that Obama should highlight, there are other gems, like the foreign policy comment!
Here is the fil transcript of doozies!

Yes, plenty of ammo on that transcript...
However, it is his cavalier attitude towards the People that will ultimately cost him on November 6th. Many here seem to think that despite the undeniable truth - that Romney doesn't give a shit about anyone but himself - debates, polls, new campaign strategies, etc. can somehow unring that bell. They're in for a rude awakening.
Neither Romney or Ryan are fit to be elected. Not in any way.
You have no way of knowing that. Fluctuations caused by polls and debates come to mean absolutely nothing on Election day.
The reasons for his loss on Election Day will be due to the voters' perception of him, which is based on their judgment of his character, which is assessed according to what has been revealed about him, past and present.
No I don't. The issue is Romney's character and sociopathy. He has demonstrated it repeatedly over the years. He confirmed it with his 47% remarks. The fact that he's a detached sociopath is why he will lose.
The above is all true... yet it has nothing to do with your comment that he will lose based on the 47% comment. He will not lose based on that comment. That is shown by the polls to date. Most people don't care about that one comment. The only ones that do are the left wing nuts who continue harping on it like it is the end of the world.
Well, it doesn't matter. Because he's going to lose. The majority of voters are turned off by his detached sense of entitlement and his cavalier attitude regarding the 47%. Debate bounces, polls, etc. - none of it matters.
Stick a fork in him.
LOL... that is moving the goal posts. You stated he would lose because of that one comment. That the 47% comment 'sealed' it. That comment clearly did not seal anything as you proclaimed given that Romney has since advanced in the polls.
If that was the truly the case, it would be indicated in the polls. yet AGAIN... Romney has been gaining in the polls, he has been gaining in favorability ratings... both of which indicate your statement is false.
