Is the Romney bounce fading?

No Jarod, it is not. Take a look at the three most recent polls and the three that got knocked out. They are different organizations with different polling methods. That change of which polls being averaged caused the shift. Again, there is no poll... NONE... that shows a fade as you proclaim. NOT ONE.

Also Jarod... the averages are up today...

I belive differently than you.

I see they are up a very small bit so far today, they will likely change again later. Lets see what the trend is, the debate tonight will likely make it impossable to tell if I was right or not because the trend will be affected, or at least we will not be able to tell if it was a trend of if the debate affected the trend.

I am noting however that there is an indication that the bump is just starting to fade.

That is FACT, not opinion. Unless you use the exact same polls in the average each time, you are not comparing apples to apples when talking about the change in the average. Romney has clsed the gap with females, is gaining ground with latino voters, and in Pennsylvania, he has the margin down to a 4 point spread as opposed to the 12 point spread it was a month ago. Heck,even in Liberal Democrat heaven,CA, Romney has gotten a good bounce.
