Does Romney Know Where Iran and Syria Are?

Your not willing to EVER admitt anything are you?

this is why you are a meatsack.

You truely dont have the emotional stability to EVER admitt your lies.

You want EVERYONE to act better than you and then to pretend you EVER act decent.

This is what makes you worthless to this country.

You dont play fair and cheat your asses off and then want the opposition to behave like saints.

Fuck you very much.

Robmoney is a foreign policy dunce and everyone knows it

Strange that Romeny didn't say anything about a pipeline or using words to indicate he was talking about a pipeline in reference to Syria as Iran's route to the sea. Thankfully, we have SF to tell us what Romney probably meant and don't have to rely on what Romney actually said.

Well if anyone knows about emotional stability, it is you desh.

Dung isn't cognizant of the fact that there was a pipeline deal to the ports in Syria through which Iran would export oil.

(1) It's a natural gas pipeline, not an oil pipeline.

(2) The deal was not to the ports in Syria but to Damascus (do you need a map?) with plans to hopefully extend it to the coast through Lebanon.

(3) I'm cognizant of these facts, but considering Romney didn't say shit about any pipeline, I'm not certain of the relevance.

Strange that Dung doesn't realize in debates you are limited in time and thus you don't go into every detail. Dung obviously believes it is impossible for people to ask Romney what he was referring to after the debate.

It is truly hilarious to watch Dung inform us that it is silly of me to speculate on what Romney meant when the OP was put up to pretend that Romney didn't know where Iran and Syria were.

Tell us Dung... when looking at exactly what Romney said... where did you get that he didn't know where Iran and Syria were? He didn't say he didn't know where they were.

Note super duoer is here wanting people to give robmoney the benifit of the doubt about his statement YET he refuses to face the cold hard fact that his party LIES about obama quotes all the time.

Note that Desh ignores her party lies all the time about Romney quotes.

That pipeline is actually for nat gas :)

LOL. Dangit. So I put in the wrong resource. At least I knew that there was a pipeline deal, and that Syria was involved, and that the pipeline was their access to the Mediterranean... unlike some people who only get news from an echo chamber.

well, the reality is that Romney obviously didn't know where Iran and Syria were. Just ask Dung. He saw that Romney stated that exactly and posted the text for us to read.

The best part about the entire pipeline dodge is that the pipeline ends at Damascus, which isn't on the Mediterranean.

Good effort though, fellas.

You still haven't shown us where Romney stated he didn't know where Iran and Syria were. Please do so as soon as possible. Because we know you have the exact text, otherwise you would have speculated on what he meant and we know how you hate that.

Shorter Damo and SF: Syria is Iran's route to the sea notwithstanding that they don't share a border and Iran has coastline along the Persian Gulf, Caspian Sea and Gulf of Oman because a pipeline might someday travel from Iran to Damascus, which isn't on any sea.

LOLers.

does the above mean you concede that you don't have the text?

Shorter Dung... 'I wanted to pretend Romney didn't know where Iran and Syria were, Damo and SF made a fool out of me'

Side note moron, the pipeline (as you stated) is to go on to the Mediterranean. The fact they don't share a border is irrelevant. That is simply your stupidity shining through. The fact is that Romney was talking about the relationship between Iran and Syria. You seem to ignore that and wanted to create an imaginary world where Romney didn't know where Iran and Syria were.

yeah... you do realize that the pipeline deal was signed in mid 2011? That it will take years to build? That it isn't even up and running yet? That they are planning for the future? That the current sanctions do not affect the construction of said pipeline? That the nat gas is a fungible commodity? That if the EU (and US) sanctions are still in place when the pipeline becomes functional, that Iran can simply sell their nat gas to other nations?

You need to read this report on the situation in the Middle East, it is looking doubtful that it will be built as the smart money is on a Qatar to Turkey pipeline. There is also the gas discoveries off Israel which have altered the picture substantially. Add in the fact that the existing Iran-Turkey pipeline has been stopped operations because of an attack from the Kurdish PKK.

try reading your own links. It is not an either or for the two pipelines. Both will likely be built. The situation in the Middle east actually enhances the desire for Iran to build their pipeline via Iraq and Syria. It does not detract from it. Qatar is the competition. No way Iran ships their nat gas via Qatars pipeline... and both want to gain easier access to the EU.
