Photo of bloodied, broken nosed George Zimmerman released

I glazed over nothing.

I presented the facts as I see them and you've done the same.

It's a pity others aren't afforded the same journalistic freedom you allow yourself.

Odd... because you declared that I presented it as fact, when in reality that is not what I did. I stated what Zimmerman had SAID, then stated IF that was true... that indicates that I do not consider it a fact that is what occurred.

The attorney for George Zimmerman said he is "frustrated" that prosecutors withheld a color photo of the Florida gunman that could bolster his case that Zimmerman was being beaten when he shot Trayvon Martin.

The graphic photo of Zimmerman, taken the night of his fateful confrontation with Florida teen Trayvon Martin, shows the accused murderer with a bloody face. Zimmerman’s legal team released the photo, which was taken by police, after prosecutors substituted it in for a black and white photocopy that had been submitted earlier.

"I get frustrated when certain evidence gets out and other evidence is withheld," said Mark O'Mara, attorney for Zimmerman, 29, who faces murder charges in the Feb. 26 death of Martin, 17. "The photo is not a game-changer, but it is significant.

"If I had had that picture in my hand on April 11 ...," he said, referring to the date when Zimmerman was charged with second-degree murder.

This photo was withheld from his attorney and only was brought to his attention when it showed up in evidence. Seriously, the photo isn't colorized, it was taken and developed as a color photo, the prosecutors solely released a photocopy (yeah, from a copy machine) and simply chose not to publish this one and tried to avoid presenting it in discovery.

That photo is NOT what the lynch mob wanted to see. Their little story of a 'redneck racist out huntin' coons' has sompletely disintegrated.

No, it hasn't, if he was persuing Martin, then the self defense motive is moot and it was Martin who was defending himself. I have never known someone giving you a bloody nose to be cause for lethal force.

This is hat a court of law will determine.

It would get you shot here in a heartbeat. If one is assaulted here and the attacker is with or without weapons you have a right to shoot him/her to protect yourself. I wonder if it had been a domestic dispute and the man was simply smacking the woman around before she shot him, how would you feel then?

Going for his gun is reason to use lethal force.

And yes, it has fallen completely apart. It began when it was leaked Zimmerman is Hispanic, and it has crashed from there. The chances of convicting Zimmerman of 2nd degree murder are as likely as me winning the lottery.

That analogy fails. Two completely different scenarios.

How do you know this to be a fact? Dead men can't give their sides of the story, the forensic evidence will do some of that. I think it is best or you to let the court of law determine who was doing what.

There is no evidence that he continued to pursue after he was told it was unnecessary. In fact, because of portions of his 911 call that were removed before they aired in that unflattering light on MSNBC, there is evidence to the contrary.

Not when considering the post it was responding to. According to Rana it is wrong to shoot a guy for cracking your skull, How would rana feel if a man was beating up on a woman and she shot him? If lethal force is wrong for one it is the other.

This new photo is going to be just one of an array. I posted pictures and links of all the pictures taken by the Sanford police including extreme close-ups of his face, and so far everyone's ignored them. All the new photo shows is that when the blood was cleaned up, GZ's injuries were minimal.

Yes, it will. Which doesn't change the accuracy of my statement even one iota. There is evidence contrary to the assumption that he was actively pursuing Trayvon when this all began. He started doing that, but evidence seems to indicate that he stopped and was returning to his car. You can even hear him stop running and his breathing return to normal.

The reality. Leftists have already convicted him in their minds. The righties generally say, "We'll see, but from evidence that I've seen he's likely not going to be convicted of Murder 2"...

Only one side seems to have that surety, and it seems based on "black dude got shot by guy with white sounding name" and not based on the evidence we've seen.
