No it won't. Will Massachusetts have to recognize weapons permits issued by other states? How about professional and business licenses?
 
I will always fight injustice and bigotry anywhere I can. The situation in NC is temporary. When you and I first debated this topic, the list of states recognizing gay marriages was very short. Now 9 states recognize same-sex marriages. It is coming to NC.

It's not about injustice and bigotry. It's about the state deciding for itself if it is in its best interest to license certain activities. And 31 of the states have decided that it is not in their best interest to license the activity that gives you so much joy.

I'm always amused at how progressives maintain that their shit is inevitable.

Look at the changes in the last 50 years. Homosexuality is not losing ground. Yes, 31 states have decided to ban gay marriage. But those numbers will change. They have changed a great deal in just a few years.

The majority of the 61% who voted against gay marriage in NC were older voters. As they die, the younger voters gain more and more traction.

Also, look at the polls and see the shift towards acceptance of gays and gay marriage nationally. Its coming to NC too. Maryland was once considered a victory for the anti-gay marriage crowd. But when they let the people vote, Maryland became one of the states that allows gay marriage.

And yes, it IS about bigotry. Unless you deny straight marriages for the reasons you claim gay marriages should not be allowed, it is bigotry.
 
Nope. It's about the best interests of the state. The straw man to paint traditional marriage supporters as bigots has failed. Mary Land is not the same as North Carolina. Since you enjoy homosexuality so much, you should move to a gay state.

How is it in the best interest of the state? And I have seen your reasons for denying marriage to gays. And yet straights with the same behaviors and traits are allowed to marry.

I enjoy homosexuality? Project much? You are the one obsessed with it. I am simply working for equality.

No, no reasonable Christian I know wants the destruction of others due to sin, beings as sin is sin in Gods eyes, my belief is Homosexuality is a lifestyle choice against God, I want forgiveness and salvation for those people, just like i do for any sinner. I do not hate homosexuals. Those are my beliefs I am entitled to them just like you are entitled to disagree.

Yes, you are certainly entitled to your beliefs. In fact, I will fight for your right to believe.

But what is at stake is your right to create laws for our nation based solely on your beliefs. That I will fight against, every time.

Because it is inevitable. Think ObamaCare. :) From hearing "It will never pass" to it being inplemented and the opponents voted out of government.
