I did not say muslims were not killing people. I said that people WERE protesting it and that I didn't know any non-muslims who thought the muslims should be able to kill anyone who doesn't believe as they do.

Bullshit, Christianity is not the oldest religion on the planet, nor is Judaism (which might be the oldest monotheist religion but not the oldest, not by a long shot), nor is the bible an accurate account of History, it's chock full of errors - especially the Old Testament, not that the New Testament isn't full of shit either mind you.

Point being, religion is not relevant to the discussion of same sex marriage if you can't muster up something other than faith of a fairy tale (bible).

As of when? Let me clarify, the amendment was voted on last May. It won by a margin of 61%-39%. So the same way that the amendment was voted on, it can be voted out.

The idea that a single amendment means it will "never" happen is simply inaccurate.

Florida requires a three day wait after you get the Marriage liscence before you get married, but you fly to Vegas, get married and fly back in one day, you are still considered married in Florida.

I will always fight injustice and bigotry anywhere I can. The situation in NC is temporary. When you and I first debated this topic, the list of states recognizing gay marriages was very short. Now 9 states recognize same-sex marriages. It is coming to NC.

Muslims protesting other muslims is not what you asked about. Your entire post was, "I want religious freedom, marriage was instituted by God. I don't want one religion, but i do not see people out protesting the muslims views of kill anyone who doesn't believe as they do.".

And there ARE people protesting muslims views of killing anyone who doesn't believe as they do.
