That's disgusting. There's been a long history of subjugation of women and, if furthering that is your idea of cultural progress, you've got more problems than I can address.

But women are capable of combat right? So why can't they take a shot to the mouth if they deserve it? Aren't they "strong and independent"?

i never said i support women in combat. i've never served, i leave that decision up to those who have and are in the military.

you're missing the big picture. the issue isn't that all women want to serve in combat or be treated "equally" with men. some women want to serve in combat, fight in the ring etc...but not all. your take all approach is offensive and indicates you have never dated.

I am happily married. I don't need to date. I love and respect my wife too much to ever even think about striking her. But then, she is a lady who understands our particular unique roles in our relationship and isn't some feminazi with a chip on her shoulder.

You seem to think that women are special and shouldn't be treated the way we would treat a man. I would tend to agree, but I am told that is old fashioned 1950s thinking. And I want to enter the 21st century and treat women who want to be treated like men like a man. I get it

But y'all keep making this claim that we should never hit a woman. But you don't say we should never hit a man. That seems awful sexist.

I said very specifically that I don't support violence against women. But if Darla got gob smacked by a dude, I could understand why he did it.

Man, I was looking forward to seeing Destiny's Child perform and right as the show started one girl at the bar yelled at another to shut the hell up (because she wanted to hear Beyonece sing) and it lead to this massive fight between these girls with serious fists being thrown and hair pulling. I ended up right in the middle of it trying to get the two girls to let go of each other's hair. Freaking crazy. Basically missed the performance as a result. Sucked.

My wife, after we first got married, got in an argument one night and she tended to go way overboard with her temper. She had picked something up and threatened to hit me with it and I just laughed at her....so she came flying across the living room where I was standing with the intent of braining me......but at the last second I side stepped her, to avoid getting brained, and she ran into the wall and knocked her self out. She was only out for a couple of seconds and as soon as I ascertained that she was ok, I about died laughing. Naturally she started crying and then I had to stop laughing and comfort her. I tell you.....our first couple of years of marriage were a real adventure.
