I was speaking with a priest this past weekend. He was a very interesting man and we were discussing gun control, an issue he and I agreed on. I enjoyed talking to him, but I still feel uncomfortable around a priest. Mostly its the celebacy thing, I just feel like these people must be so pent up sexually that its got to escape somehow. I almost feel like they are not full adults.
I'll take that bet. I'll bet he's either black or latino... as for "he will be a male"... well duh. Since they don't have female priests.

It does? Those are two verses from Revelations... I don't pay for a movie channel just to watch Dexter so I watch it after the season.

A lot of people believe it would have been an African cardinal last time if not for Benedict being in the contest. Now that he's out of the way, the runners up have a great chance of getting elected. Remember, African clergy have a tendency to be ultra conservative, which I believe the 2005 conclave was afraid of. If you think Benedict is conservative, the African cardinals are quite capable of causing a rift within the Church (particularly here in the US). I shalll enjoy watching this play out, as I am kind of rooting for such an individual to arrive on the scene.

That said, I'm picking through a stack of Fr Ted DVDs and a couple of Monty python movies.
