Same-sex couples begin marrying

But queer marriage has never been done, even the Romans and Greeks didn't do that.

Never been done before? Wow, that certainly means we should never, ever do that. :palm:

But studies on the results of parenting by gay and straight couples have been done. And no damage or adverse effects were found.

You have no reason to dismiss Cameron, except of course that you disagree with him.

Well, except of course that his research was not peer reviewed, nor were his research methods scientifically sound, and his conclusions were not based on the research, and that he stole or misrepresented other people's research. Other than that.......

And my favorite remark from Paul Cameron is his idea that if men were allowed to try gay sex, the sex would be so good that they would "turn gay" and the human race would be doomed. I think that alone says more about him than anything.

The queer marriage fight is over. This is something that Rush Limbaugh commented on and I agree with him.

The queer marriage pushers have won. It's time to move on to the next battle.

My side has no one else to blame but ourselves as we allowed the left to define marriage in a different term while we did the same exact thing with titles like hereto sexual marriage or opposite sex marriage.

It's over and it doesn't matter what the SC says.

Regroup and keep fighting other battles.

Good idea. Now how about we focus on battling to create worthwhile fiscal policies, like a better tax system, control gov't spending, and having Congress live under the same rules and system they create for their constituents?

I've stated what Philly has said before. We can try to keep it a state matter, and hopefully scotus wont crap on it. Its only furthering the coruption of America, and its a large victory at that. I sat down with my family the other day and my cousin put on a movie.

My Idiot Brother, about a pot selling organic farm hippie with a cheating lesbian sister and a propensity to get into gay situations . . . ::facepalm:: my poor mother who is significantly more progressive than I had to leave the house, and needless to say I was appalled.

My point is they've been using media to alter our society's mores for a long time now, at least since those rated R 'rape' films of yesteryear.

Exposure begets tolerance, even acceptance.

Why didn't you concentrate on those things in the first place?

You're the one who always claims that the right always put social issues at the forefront and now you want to move on to "more important things"

If this queer marriage agenda of yours wasn't important, then why did you shove it down the country's throat from all angles?

........... if it wasn't one of those "more important issues."

It is important to me because I see it as an important civil rights issue.

I have also focused on several other issues in real life, but they are not debated as heavily on JPP.

Then why did the queers only recently want to be married? Marriage has been around for thousands of years and queers weren't clamoring for it.

Why do queers want to marry?

Bottom line? The government can't enforce religious laws. And looking at our constitution, there's no valid reason for DOMA.

Plus, it should be the states/localities that control marriage, not the federal government.

It's funny how the right always cite make believe movie scenarios as if they're real life.

Its funny how the queers in hollywood keep pushing it onto the public.

Its funny hoe afaik, I'm the onlu here talking about movies.

Its funny how the queers kill themselves more often and get all sorts of fun stds.

Its funny how the left calls the right racist, then plays the race card at every turn.

Its funny how most people ignore your posts.

Its also funny how gays want a human pet soo bad they run off to scotus when states say no.
