Then why did the queers only recently want to be married? Marriage has been around for thousands of years and queers weren't clamoring for it.
Why do queers want to marry?
It was not so long ago (in my lifetime) that gays would be arrested for having sex and be beaten upjust for being gay.
I think when its about survival, the idea of weddings isn't very important.
Of course it is an "appeal to tradition". There has been research on kids raised by straight couples, gay couples, and single parents. I have posted this research in numerous debates with you. It consistently showed there being no difference in the way the kids turn out.
And try to stick to the topic. Trying to divert it by dragging up old debates is laughable.

And that shows nothing about having gay parents being bad for their kids.
That isn't "Appeal to Tradition"?
Besides, that does not address whether or not gay parents are less desireable as far as the children are concerned.
I heard an interview on a Christian station from an anonymous caller about how much anger he had, and suicidal thoughts he had because of his Gay parents. This is still going on well into his adult life.
how about the possibility that they were bad parents, not because they were gay, but because they did not know how to parent.
also, one caller does not a trend make

I've stated what Philly has said before. We can try to keep it a state matter, and hopefully scotus wont crap on it. Its only furthering the coruption of America, and its a large victory at that. I sat down with my family the other day and my cousin put on a movie.
My Idiot Brother, about a pot selling organic farm hippie with a cheating lesbian sister and a propensity to get into gay situations . . . :: my poor mother who is significantly more progressive than I had to leave the house, and needless to say I was appalled.
My point is they've been using media to alter our society's mores for a long time now, at least since those rated R 'rape' films of yesteryear.
Exposure begets tolerance, even acceptance.

Two parents of the same sex is un friggin natural it goes against nature, Kids need a father and mother to nurture them. not two men, or two women, even if one does act like the man and the other the woman.
My gay friends children are all very well adjusted. They were raised in homes full of love. It is all children need. Now I know a lot of children raised in hetrosexual households who are completely screwed up because of their parents drinking, fighting and abuse, having a mother and a father isn't always a perfect situation.
I've never met a male queer who wasn't unstable.
So the progession of movies and media towards this was never skewed towards pushing a certain stereotype?
Girls in the 1920s were never tied up?
Blacks in the 40s were never cooks or chefs or comedic relief?
The rape movies of the 60s were there because the audiences demanded them?
Blacks always died first in 80s, 90s horror because we as Americans wanted it?
And now we watch polyamoreous sex because we want it?
Get a clue, Du.
