you have the balls to put all the blame on Bush because of a memo that came to him after the terrorists were already here, 3 weeks before the attack.....

What should Bush have done? Round up all suspicious looking young middle eastern men? Did the memo specify a crime that had been committed by someone? We can't arrest people without charging them, can we? Clinton got the same kinds of memos Bush got, but we didn't hear anything about it, because terrorists hadn't flown planes into buildings yet, and because we were busy watching Clinton do the Slick Willie around the latest Bimbo Eruption.

As for the thread, it would be nice if we could keep it confined to the topic at hand, and not try and turn it into a Bush/Iraq bashing thread like always. We should just rename about 90% of the threads at JPP... "Another Thread to Bash Bush In!"

I don't know why you keep repeating "covered your asses" ...was this something you saw in a Michael Moore documentary? Bush certainly never said such a thing in the context you keep presenting it, like a lying piece of dog shit. I know you think this is clever and cute, but it's really annoying more than anything.

Who gives a shit anymore? The only beef I have with Bush are the following...

1. He gave most favored nation status to China...which.
A. They didn't deserve because of their human rights record....and
B. Ushered in the massive job exodus that helped to fuck our economy.

2. Fought a war in two fronts AND cut taxes AND left those wars off the books to let the next president to deal with.

3. Bailed Wall Street out. Even though the American Public didn't want it, and Congress voted against it the first time around.... then he did his Billy Graham speech saying "if we don't give them $800B, we will all die(well...that last part was an exaggeration, but you get the idea)

That's about it. Other than those things, he wasn't that bad....no worse than any other.

There was nothing "racist" about my comment. I rarely ever visit any other political site or blog. I may go read an article, if it's a subject of interest, but I am very leary about what websites I frequent. left OR right.

No one has suggested Obama's head on a pike. I merely made the argument many of you made for Bush & Co. back in the day, that Obama was apparently "asleep at the switch" while these Boston Bombers plotted their evil scheme. Bush had a memo... Obama had one of the two in custody, being questioned by the FBI for ties to radical Islam. If the standards for "asleep at the switch" apply in Bush's case, they certainly have to apply in Obama's as well, that's all I was saying.

I have no prejudice toward Obama because he is black, none whatsoever. YOU fuckwits are the ones who are prejudiced. Every criticism that has ever been raised of this man, has been met with accusations of "racism" because he happens to be black, and you can exploit that characteristic for political gain. I have cast NO disparaging remarks on him for being black or being a black liberal, as I said, if there is reincarnation, I hope to come back as a black liberal myself! It's a pretty sweet fucking gig, you can do or say whatever you please, you don't have to account for your actions, you don't have to answer questions, you don't have to take responsibility, everything is someone else's fault, you can't be criticized, and white liberals will defend virtually anything you do.

Oh, gee- they were already in the country? How could they possibly be stopped or apprehended if they were already here?

What an excuse-maker you are. Bush dismissed the threat, and was casual about it. And it was over a month before the attacks.

It's great when you & Dixie get going on the Bush apologism.
