The Firearms Statistics That Gun Control Advocates Don’t Want to See

I also thought you had class!
You do, it's just all low!

My posts reflect the class of whomever I am responding to at the time. If someone presents a solid argument, I discuss it in calm, polite terms. If someone spouts nonsense and calls me a redneck, I respond in kind.

See how that works? Its funny, Top, that you have no problem saying all sorts of shit but dislike it being said to you.

I respond like you do!
Didn't consider you one of the rednecks till you just claim it

Do those numbers include the people in England who were defending themselves from a criminal who had invaded their home and the home owner/renter ended up being arrested?

It probably does cover the 11 prosecutions for using disproportionate force against intruders between 1990 and 2005. I haven't got the figures for the subsequent 7 years but i'd estimate there may have been another 5 or so.

I mentioned ARRESTED, not prosecuted; but then, it appears that you find no problem with people being punished for defending themselves from criminals.

The M1 Carbine? Shooting a .30 Carbine round? I would have thought that would be a somewhat underpowered round, unless you are hunting in heavily wooded areas where long shots are rare.

Was hunting woooded area, used 30 caliber hunting ammo not hardball rounds and never lost a deer to it getting away. By the way I am an excellent shot. I never ever lost a deer back when I used a 12 gauge and slugs / 00 buckshot alternated in the magazine. I do take only kill shots and never just blast way.

Good to hear. A solid shot is the only one we should ever take.

That's fine....but in PA, you wouldn't be legal....I don't make the rules, so don't yell at me. I use a Remington 7600 .270 caliber. But when I first started, I used my trusty 870 12 gauge with slugs(they didn't have the slug barrel back then... or at least I never saw them back then.

When younger I used a 12 ga to deer hunt, did quite well. Later used a 30'06 but found that M1 carbine was perfect for me.
Being an excellent shot helps. Having over 45 years of steady shooting helps too.:)

I'm not aware there are any figures for people arrested defending their home from an intruder.

If you find any let me know.

Is this because you just want to ignore what's been happening in England or are you truly unaware of things that have occured?
