I think Brent intended to call out both the filthy Muslims and the posters who defend them. Hence, this thread has two related topics.

Howey's red herring about total rape stats in a nation many times more populous than the UAE should not be forgotten on account of Bravo's typically lousy posting. It's still a red herring with intent to distract us from how pathetic the Muslims are here.

Yes, they are pathetic, write your Congressmen and have them put pressure on the UAE to release the woman, otherwise, there is much pity for her, but nothing I can do, but I will write a letter. If you know of a petition, please let me know.

The UAE is liking the Western dollars, so just maybe they can be influenced.

Guys, we've been hoodwinked. Although a sad occurrence, it seems like this all took place in 2008, the woman was released and the rapist was prosecuted and sent to prison.

If Brent is my kind of conservative, he doesn't care about protests, letters, and petitions, as he knows them to be irrelevant. He just wants to point out an obvious problem in this forum and have all sane people recognize the problem and argue the point against the proles, for all the good it will them.

I don't know about locking up but lack of witnesses hurts many women's cases. Look at that evil Dominique Strauss-Kahn and the hotel maid.

Why was he evil? Hitler was evil, getting a blowjob from a maid in a New York hotel room is hardly in the same league. I don't doubt that he is sleazy but I just don't believe that woman's account as she had previously lied and tried to blame the translator.

I could post a lot of info on Strauss and the French women he assaulted and his history of sex assault but the fact is Tom, bravo and other righties don't care. The UAE has an appalling human rights record towards foreign workers especially from Asia. They are treated as little more than slaves in many cases.
