Probably not. Condi Rice was never The First Lady, although if rumors are to be believed, she was First Concubine, which entitled her to nothing but ridicule.

high and mighty? She tried to get a word in once the heckler started and the heckler kept interrupting her. Michelle handled that situation very well. The more I see Michelle Obama, the more I like her. Her husband may be bat shit crazy, but give the man props for convincing her to marry him.

She could have easily said that if she calmed down then she would listen to her complaint else she would be shown the door. Her 'bat shit crazy' husband did that just the other day, i believe.

You make too many assumptions. I can only speak for myself, but I think that (just for example) John McCain's wife should be "off limits" from heckling. His daughter (whom I LIKE, but who has chosen to become a political speaker in her own right by her own choice) might be another thing. That's assuming that heckling ANYONE is an acceptable way to communicate or protest.
 
So... Andrea Bocelli gives a concert... People pay good money for tickets... And, in the middle of one of his songs, some drunken sot stands up and starts yelling, "Free Bird!!! Play Free Bird!!!" If Andrea stops singing and asks the crowd, "Hey... Would you prefer I continue ,or would you rather have this fellow come up here and sing instead of me?", would you all be claiming that Andrea was whining or would you say that he handled the heckler quite nicely?

I meant if Bocelli actually did what Obama had done. I would have laughed at the idiot for getting embarrassed by Bocelli. If I had been there I would have laughed at the one Michelle hammered as well. (a polite hammering... but quite effective)
