Death, when it occurs in a war, is political by nature. When a politician argues for continuing this war, so that “they will not have died in vain” that is politicizing the deaths of human beings. Holding up a picture of this marine at an anti-war event, would be political. And I would certainly do that. However, in this case, it was not politicizing anything, it was trying to get someone very young, to take a look at what they are facing if they join the military, because they need money.
