A Shameful Display Of Consumerism By The Pleasure Seekers On National Day Of Thanks.

You're a typical board republican. Capitalism is as evil as any other evil in the world in it's purest form. And you obviously find nothing wrong with selfish capitalist gain either. industrialism and capitalism are destroying America because the degenerates who are supporting it are selling America out.

Tell me why you find nothing wrong with ungrateful little bitches in line buying toys for themselves on the national day of thanks. Why can't you show some patriotism for a change for just a few hours out of the year?

I personally stay home all day with my family. But I have no problem with those who do something else. The tone of your comments almost come across dictator like "you will stay home and be thankful dammit!"

Most people do stay home
Inner city poor and a few soccer moms get a big discount and hitler over here blows a fuse.

you just cant figure out that Im not desh anymore huh?

You really don't want to absorb new facts huh?

Now why was it I turned out to be correct on things we used to debate my little buddy?

how did you track record turn out?

just keep losing it becomes you.

facts never seem to fit into your "wardrobe"

Why were you unable to spell "E-V-I-D-E-N-C-E" correctly, or does leaving out the "D-E" mean something special to you?

Halliburton - wars with no end all over the world.

George Bush and his prime mortgage scheme that ruined the housing industry.

The stripping of the country's industrial base and jobs going to foreigners for cheap labor.

Amnesty for the illegals for the sake of Wall Street and Silicon Valley.

There's no end to your selfish greed, is there Mr. Republican including on thanksgiving day when it comes to your crony capitalism.

There's much more if you want it.

To me, this sounds like something out of North Korea.

How in the Hell do you get North Korea out of retailers closing their doors on thanksgiving?

24 frigging hours and the communists are going to take over the world if greedy bastards in ad board rooms and corporate board rooms can't make more money.

You don't know what I did on the holiday. What I didn't do was something that you would probably do - stand in line to buy electronic toys from retailers who should know better than to open their doors to profit off of individuals who don't give one iota about anybody besides themselves and who cannot acknowledge joining a national celebration of reverence and thanks giving.

Who the Hell do you think you are describing my holiday? It's obvious you cannot see anything wrong with the element who cannot take one day out of the year to stop selfish consumerism for 24 hours then proceed with it the very next day.

That says a lot for you moderator right there.

anyone that knows me would know I fucking hate lines, and I hate shopping for anything. I buy 90% of everything these days on amazon. I am just not looking at the past through rose-tinted glasses. you did everything I said you did, or you would have denied it. some people have made black friday part of their thanksgiving tradition, just as watching football has become other peoples. Neither are really about being thankful. nor is stuffing your face, getting drunk etc.

you dont think rushing out to by a fucking huge turkey isn't consumerism? how many brand names did you have on your table?

I spent Thanksgiving day cooking with my family, transporting the wife's grandmother from the nursing home so she could spend the day with us, eating a good chicken dinner and visiting. I spent Black Friday squirrel hunting and am now smuggling those KY squirrels back to OK. :)

My point? I chose to participate in those activities on those days. That's the beauty of this country. We have plenty of choices. I wouldn't go shopping on Thanksgiving...but some would. That's their choice.

Is that right FDR?

Why weren't the retailers open before this year then?

What was the harm in letting those disgraces wait a few hours before they went on their selfish gluttony for their electronic gadget toys? Why not give the people celebrating the holiday a fair shot at the bargains also the next day?

There was no harm in expecting degenerates out of the public school system who were taught that the country's holidays were a sham to at some point either at home or somewhere to be taught about what the holiday is collectively for the American people.

You buy the turkey before the holiday.

And do not assume anything about me and what I did on the holiday. You are simply covering for your morally bankrupt dude friends who themselves stood in the lines Thursday and possibly you with them.

I'm like grind amazon!
And fuck you and your faux morals slave lover.

I think that the BIG stores should rent out a coliseum, and tell people to fight for special or free items. Sell tickets and watch two people go at it for a toaster oven. Would be fun to watch and good for consumerism(note sarcasm).lol

The fact of the mater is that if people didn't overconsume, capitalism would be a failure. The best thing to do with your money is be tight with it and NOT consume unless you have to, but that would be the end of capitalism.lol

They spend billions of dollars targeting your children and especially dumb people to purchase things they don't need. And do you notice how most commercials seem to target the dumbest of the dumb? Especially when they say, and we are not payed actors, while reading from a cue card !! ROTFLOL!!

More and more people are doing things themselves whether house renovation, working on their car(removing the middleman) or what not thanks to the internet. Before you had to pay for that info via expensive education. Capitalism is on its way out. :)

Must be why so many Canadians come to the US, to do their shopping on Black Friday.

I see no reason to get outraged over a collection of shallow, soulless, scrap-grabbing proles. There will always be proles among us, and they help fuel the economy. They also detract from it by voting leftist demagogues into power.

You studied history at undergrad level!
Had you gone to grad school they'd have taught you some economic history!

How about you philosopher from compulsory education, did the people who were forced to work on thanksgiving get a choice like you did?
