I personally stay home all day with my family. But I have no problem with those who do something else. The tone of your comments almost come across dictator like "you will stay home and be thankful dammit!"

anyone that knows me would know I fucking hate lines, and I hate shopping for anything. I buy 90% of everything these days on amazon. I am just not looking at the past through rose-tinted glasses. you did everything I said you did, or you would have denied it. some people have made black friday part of their thanksgiving tradition, just as watching football has become other peoples. Neither are really about being thankful. nor is stuffing your face, getting drunk etc.

you dont think rushing out to by a fucking huge turkey isn't consumerism? how many brand names did you have on your table?

Why weren't the retailers open before this year then?

What was the harm in letting those disgraces wait a few hours before they went on their selfish gluttony for their electronic gadget toys? Why not give the people celebrating the holiday a fair shot at the bargains also the next day?

There was no harm in expecting degenerates out of the public school system who were taught that the country's holidays were a sham to at some point either at home or somewhere to be taught about what the holiday is collectively for the American people.

I think that the BIG stores should rent out a coliseum, and tell people to fight for special or free items. Sell tickets and watch two people go at it for a toaster oven. Would be fun to watch and good for consumerism(note sarcasm).lol

The fact of the mater is that if people didn't overconsume, capitalism would be a failure. The best thing to do with your money is be tight with it and NOT consume unless you have to, but that would be the end of capitalism.lol

They spend billions of dollars targeting your children and especially dumb people to purchase things they don't need. And do you notice how most commercials seem to target the dumbest of the dumb? Especially when they say, and we are not payed actors, while reading from a cue card !! ROTFLOL!!

More and more people are doing things themselves whether house renovation, working on their car(removing the middleman) or what not thanks to the internet. Before you had to pay for that info via expensive education. Capitalism is on its way out. :)

I see no reason to get outraged over a collection of shallow, soulless, scrap-grabbing proles. There will always be proles among us, and they help fuel the economy. They also detract from it by voting leftist demagogues into power.
