Shopping this weekend...

Let me make it clear, I don't mind letting the guy check my receipt if there is no line, but if the store wants my cooperation they should respect me enough to invest in the resources to ensure I don't have to wait more than 5 min's to do them the favor they are asking of me.

Second... I kinda wish the security goons had handcuffed me also, I would have sued the store so fast they would not have known what hit them.

A clueless dimwitted rant that presumes that businesses can accurately predict when they will be slammed by customers and that they don't have the right to at least ensure people are trying to rob them.

Irrational dimwits will come to internet forums to whine and complain; rational thinking people just decide they will not support businesses where they have to wait in long lines.

Me too; I would have liked to see the judge's reaction when you explained that you were arrogant enough to presume that everyone else had to be checked except for you and ran from the security people like a common thief, and how businesses do not have the right to protect themselves from theft.

If your legal prowess is as dense as your arguments here, the judge might have slapped you with a fine for being an embarrassment to the legal system as well.

I do not subject myself to kidnapping simply by buying an item at Costco.

I know you like using extremes, to try and prove your opinion; but you are subjecting yourself to store policy, by shopping there.
You're refusal to abide by store policy does subject yourself to being detained and more then likely restrained, if you act the way you express yourself on this site.
Your "lawsuit" would more then likely be thrown out and you very well could find yourself banned from ever entering another Costco, for the rest of your life.

...and then we would be subjected to his incessant whining about how unfair Costco was to ban him; Typical lefttard.

Not a smart move. I worked security a long time ago. I know security goons who would have, taken you to the security office, locked the door, turned the cameras off, beat the hell out of you, called the police and explained how you fell down the stairs running away from them. Your word against theirs.

They are simply not legally allowed to detain me for not following their rules... They could ban me, but they cant legally detain or restrain me.

You might want to re-educate yourself; because they do have the right to detain and or restrain you, if they suspect that you've done something illegal.

I try not to allow fear of that shit stop me from doing what I believe is right.

Additionally the jury would hear a lot about the difference between the injuries caused by falling down the stairs and those caused by being hit by a goon. They would also be very interested in why the security video was turned off... etc..

Only if they have reason that would lead them to REASONABLY suspect I was stealing. Openly skipping the extra security check is not enough.

Jarod doesn't shop with the average social conservative cheapskate, he's not used to the bubba police state.
Odd being in fl, prob a rich transplant
