A Deadly Mix in Benghazi

Testimony before congress indicates that the staff at Tripoli told the Department of State that the Ambassador was going to be spending some time in Benghazi and that his movement there was not in response to a department directive for him to do so. I read the testimony... You are welcome to.

That's not the point, you dishonest twit. Stevens requested additional security and he was denied. Suck on that until you understand it.
And.. As I have said to you on more than one ocasion, Ambassadors make request all the time. Hindsight is 20-20. Similarly, the lack of prescience is not synonymous with negligence or incompetence.

Suck on this. Stevens was denied additional security because the House " ... in 2011 passed a continuing resolution for the remainder of that fiscal year. The House proposed $70 million cut in the WSP and they proposed a $204 million cut in Embassy security," says Mr. Lilly. "Then the next year, fiscal 2012, they cut worldwide security by $145 million and embassy security by $376 million. This year's bill is the same thing all over again. The House has cut the worldwide security budget $149 million below the request."

You are encouraged to tell us why Hillary's State Department refused multiple requests for additional security.

So Stevens was merely visiting Benghazi now according to you dunce? Your story changes faster than a chameleon.

Let's be honest here; you're a dishonest hyper partisan low information dimwit who parrots the moronic talking points of this administration like a trained circus monkey. You wouldn't know a fact if it walked up and slapped on your empty retard head.

What I know is that Stevens was indeed assigned to Benghazi for secret reasons we still do not know, and that he sued numerous requests and concerns for security. His last entry in his diary suggests deep concerns.

What I also know is that after the murder of four Americans, this administration lied about the events for two weeks during an election year.

What I also know is that the perpetrators are still running free, and this administration has refused to cooperate with Congress and does everything it can to deny access to information and events.

What I also know is that events were deteriorating so badly that ALL of our allies had already removed their personnel knowing they could not adequately protect their missions; but not the incompetent morons in the State Department and White House.

Those are the OBVIOUS facts; unless, of course, you are a dishonest hyper partisan dunce.
Stevens was not "assigned" to Benghazi... He was stationed in Tripoli, at the embassy there. Embassies are where Ambassadors are stationed, not at consulates.

You are better than this

Show us the part of the bill that forbids the state department from sending additional security, you filthy lying deranged cockroach.

Folks in government make tough budget decisions every day...why did the GOP cut the state department's security budget if they were so worried about potential incidents such as this?

Squeezing blood frm a turnip is difficult. Show us where the state department should have known that the security at Benghazi should have been more important than other unmet security needs.

Can you prove this claim Commander?

"The Board found that Ambassador Stevens made the decision to travel to Benghazi independently of Washington, per standard practice. Timing for his trip was driven in part by commitments in Tripoli, as well as a staffing gap between principal officers in Benghazi. Plans for the Ambassador’s trip provided for minimal close protection security support and were not shared thoroughly with the Embassy’s country team, who were not fully aware of planned movements off compound. The Ambassador did not see a direct threat of an attack of this nature and scale on the U.S. Mission in the overall negative trendline of security incidents from spring to summer 2012. His status as the leading U.S. government advocate on Libya policy, and his expertise on Benghazi in particular, caused Washington to give unusual deference to his judgments."
