Who knows if you quoted what Obama said about pot. Your post has you quoting things he said about cigarettes and you are taking it out of context to make it look like he said it about pot.

I'm not going to research anything else you say because you are a waste of time. No thought process and you are worse than the worst on here that only repeat what they are told. You actually lie about the repeat process.

When you get advanced beyond the repeat process, you get to the thought process. Hope some of you will get there.

wickard v. filburn says that farmers could only grow certain amounts of a crop so that the market prices would be the most valuable. It denied the farmers their right to grow any extra even if it was for PERSONAL use.

so again, do we really agree that the feds should be able to have that kind of control and power over what flowers we grow in our yards?

The fact is NOT A SINGLE PERSON EVER has died from smoking Marijuana.

Tobacco cannot make the same claim therefore your claim goes...POOF...up in smoke

Just as there is no proof positive that what the NIDA posts as "fact" is true either.

The FACT remains that NOT A SINGLE SOLITARY PERSON has EVER died from overdosing on Marijuana, and that is a fact that is NOT IN DISPUTE.

Independent thought? I quit smoking pot 35 years ago and I haven't been drunk in 12 years. I really enjoy an occasional single malt scotch or a really good red wine, and some of the micro brew beers are outstanding. I can appreciate those things and they enhance the quality of my life. If I was in the last stages of life due to disease or injury and the doctor told me pot might alleviate some discomfort or something, I'd probably smoke more than the dude does. But legalizing another form of intoxication for recreational use just doesn't seem very smart to me.
 
The risks are not significant enough to deny me the right to smoke marijuana if I am 21 years of age or older.
