For someone who routinely denigrates others' patriotism.... It's instructive to see that you, personally, never felt compelled, or even willing, to put your own self in harm's way in defense of our nation. You're nothing but a fucking coward with "other priorities", or, in simpler terms, a desire to save your own skin which superseded your paper thin patriotism.

I never once thought it was going to be overturned. Even if Romney had won, I knew it would not be overturned. The political consequences of going back to the worse system that we had before the ACA would be terrible.

So, I am not saying the ACA is bad law, but for the sake of this analogy, lets pretend it is...

The Republicans are like the offence of an NFL football team, and their attitude after the defense gave up a touchdown.... why should we score, its the defense's fault we are down by 7.

They cant see the fact that the country has moved LEFT, because they always adapt. They kick and scream as the nation takes a step forward, once the step is taken, they go on to fight against the next step, claiming they were for the last step all along.

It is true that the ACA would have been a much better bill had major concessions not been granted to get support. One glaring example is the public option.

Medicare was violently opposed by the Republicans, additionally interracial marriage, access to birth control, desegregation, and many more examples were opposed by the social Conservatives until they were made to be.
