Do you think that black Americans will start voting for republicans again because they USED to be the party that emancipated the slaves and, the northern republicans were once the champion of civil rights? Everybody gets it. Lincoln was a republican. He freed the slaves. Northern republicans (damn near the only kind back a half a century ago) spearheaded the civil rights act... along with bunches of northern democrats. Everybody understands that. And everybody knows that that was then and this is now. Times change. Parties change. The GOP pissed away the black vote a long time ago and it just cracks me up to watch them keep trotting out the same strategy to get them back: TELL THOSE NEGROES HOW GOOD WE USED TO BE FOR THEM! THAT SHOULD WORK!

I never denigrated McCain's.... he's a fucking monster hero in my book and always has been. I had his name on my POW bracelet.

Bush, on the other hand, used political connections to step over more qualified applicants and get into the TANG... where he purposely chose an airframe he knew would not deploy, and even then, he couldn't find it to fully complete his meager hitch... He disobeyed a direct order to report for a flight physical (the same year that drug testing was included.... coincidence? we report, you decide) and skipped out early while his peers were dying in Nam.

It will pale in comparison to the costs for marketing and implementing Obamacare. Funny that you are more concerned about sunk costs than the additional trillions this fiasco will cost. But then, empty headed leftist twits never were very good at math or setting priorities.

Obama lied once again to the American people when he claimed the economic costs of the shutdown would be great. Turns out the economy did just fine according to the data after the shutdown.

But gullible empty headed dunces like you like being lied to, as long as it is you're guy lying.
