First of all, it isn't. If zimmerman walked straight up to trayvon and said "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE" he still would have been in his legal right to shoot in self defense if trayvon took a swing at him and started bashing his head into concrete. It's all about having an imminent fear of ones life or grave bodily injury.

Additionally, there is no evidence that zimmerman initiated anything, and all of the evidence syncs up with zimmermans account before he even knew if there would have been people watching or recording the incident.
